"Bring her out." I heard Sophie say the last part looking back in our direction. The witches surrounded me and I held my stomach confused to why she wants me out.

"Elijah..."

I ran to him and hugged him I have certainly missed my older brother, "Give us a moment, please." Elijah asks.

Sophie walked us to a mausoleum to talk in private. Hayley sat there quietly. She was worried for me and from our birthmark we had to be related.

"So, you have been held here against your own free will?"

"They lured us out to the bayou and grabbed us then they did all these weird, witchy tests, not that I understand how this could happen. I mean, vampires are dead. they can't have children." I started to remember how close Kol and I were but there were still huge things I'm missing like exactly who he is to me.

(Italics is Kol thinking and talking.)

When I found out she was pregnant and with Klaus. I was not happy but the broken look and the tears coming out of her eyes I knew she didn't want this and she was hurt. I couldn't stay mad at her, especially since she decided to forget about me and us. It was to hard on her and I figured maybe that was what was best for her no matter how much I wanted to strangle Nik for it.

"Both of you are hybrids. You both have a werewolf side that can reproduce." Elijah explained.

I had tears down my face as I kept wiping them away. "I never wanted this lijah. Kol wouldn't be happy with Nik. Oh god...I just want him. I want Kol I don't know where he is or anything." I said as I sobbed thinking about him.

"All I can think about is you to star. I'm sorry my death affected you so." If I could cry I would. "I'm not mad. I just wish I could talk to you my love." I said sitting down on the left side of her.

I felt a presence on my left while Elijah sat down on the right side of me. I looked to the left and nothing was there. I cried more wishing Kol was here right next to me with Elijah comforting me.

She looked over at me and I smiled weakly. She had tears streaming down her face. I touched her face and held it there. She couldn't feel me but I could feel her. "I'm here star. I will always be here for you. No matter what, remember that. I promised and I intend to keep it. I'm so sorry." She looked back to Elijah.

Elijah hugged me while patting my head, "It's ok. I know you don't want this but this could be good. I know it's not Kol's and that is who you prefer it to have been but it's a new life for you to love and protect. I'm sure Kol would be very unhappy with you and I'm sure he would hate Klaus but I know he would want you to be happy and live your life. That's all he has ever wanted. Every time he could have killed and massacred out of rage the only thing that stopped him was his love for you and not wanting to leave you behind. Now, he would want you to move on. The truth hurts and that's, what this is, he isn't coming back and you can start new again." He didn't mention why she asked about where Kol is but he was very confused.

"It's true, darling. That's all I wish for you and my kids. Just be safe happy and I'll be fine. I miss you so much."

"What do you mean he loves me? My children are his? Where is he lijah? I'm confused. It hurts every time I try to think about it." I grabbed onto him and sobbed in his chest.

"It should get better someday, darling. I'm not disappointed I promise that. I could never stay mad at you. You mean to much to me."

"You and Kol were married you had two kids with him. He died by white oak stake. What happened while I was gone?"

I lifted my head and stared at him like he was crazy. "What?"

"You loved him Astraea." He says just as confused.

"All I remember is being at home playing games then I was with Klaus because I had him dagger me for awhile for some reason I can't remember." Now that I say it out loud that sounds bad. "Wait Kol's dead!" More tears came down my eyes as I missed my best friend how could I not know of this?

His eyes widen and his mouth parts. "He didn't..." He looked at my face and whatever he saw gave him the answer. "He compelled you to forget. How? Why?"

"What? What are you talking about lijah?"

"Niklaus compelled you to forget about your love for Kol. How is that possible?"

"Yeah. How the hell is that possible?" Hayley spoke up.

"You open your mind allow them in and it's like that." But it also helps if your a witch but I can't tell him here with ears all around.

"Why would you do that?"

"If I loved him maybe I couldn't handle his death very well and decided it would be better to forget." I sniffled and rubbed my nose on my arm.

"It will get better little sister. I will help and I'm sure Nik will help you like he has. Just give him time and remember Kol will always love you."

I hope Nik takes care of her. I know he loves her. "This baby will mean a lot to him. I wish I was there to help even if it would be a rocky start that child would still mean everything to me."

"You should know that I am gonna search for a way to bring him back. While I was helping Hayley find our family I came across some resurrection spells."

"Oh, sweet sweet Astraea. Don't get your hopes up sweetheart. I hope you can get me out but please don't obsess over it."

"And I hope it works out, I'm sure you will do what ever to get him back and your memory should to."

"How do you know Niklaus will want this? I don't even want this. Well I'd never get rid of it but I don't know about him it's easier for him to leave."

"I think you have been the most important person in his life and this baby is something you both now forever share. It might be a way for Niklaus to find happiness, a way to save him from himself." We hear footsteps and Elijah looks behind him away from me.

If this baby can do that, it's a miracle worker. I wouldn't be surprised Astraea always had her way with him and this baby is theirs I'm sure it would have it's way as well.

"I'm glad you feel that way because we need your help." Sophie said entering our view.

"Good bye, star. I will be back soon darling. I promise." I kissed her cheek then I felt it all go.

"What precisely do you want and what does it have to do with my little sister?" Elijah asked Sophie.

"We want to run Marcel and his vampires out of town, Klaus is the key." I looked up at her in shock. Marcel is Alive...who would have thought?

"Why Nik?" I asked curiously.

"Everything Marcel knows about being a vampire, he learned from Klaus. Marcel trusts him, looks up to him and he won't see the betrayal coming." Sophie explains.

"Yes. Well i'm sure you are aware, my brother Niklaus doesn't like to be told what to do." Elijah said Making me remember all the times he did things all because he was told not to.

"That's why I brought you here. Marcel drove the werewolves out of town decades ago." Sophie said.

"That was Marcellus?" I asked.

"Yeah and do you really think he is going to welcome a hybrid baby to the neighboorhood? Convince Klaus to help us, and no one has to know about the newest member of the original family." She said trying not to show her fear.

"That sounds remarkably like black mail." Elijah said amused at her trying it on our family.

"And like a threat to me and my baby?" I said.

"Like I said, i'm desperate." She said knowing that Elijah could easily kill her without blinking if he wanted.

He sighs then talks, "Well then I have my work cut out for me don't I? i'll be back i promise, sister." He said to me before leaving.

"Sophie Deveraux...what is this?" I hear an Nik's voice ask as Sophie steps out of the shadows.

"He's all yours proceed." Elijah said.

"You know your famous in this town? Witches tell bed time stories about the powerful vampire Klaus." Sophie said easing into their problem.

"Ahh well I did run this town back in the day, love." He said knowing he has spent alot of time in New Orleans to make a great impression.

"We know Marcel was nothing but an orphan street rat, until you made him what he is. And now he is out of control. He does what he wants, he kills who he wants. I'm gonna stop him and your gonna help me." She said trying to be confident around him.

"This is why you brought me here?" Nik asked his brother like this was not important to him at all.

"Hear her out." Elijah says trying to plead him to stay long enough to see me and hear about our baby.

"I don't need to hear her out. I assure you, love. There is not a thing on this earth that will matter enough for me to waste even thirty more seconds of my time." But that was going to change ver soon. " Elijah what is this madness?" He asked his brother impatiently.

"Klaus...trust me you will want to hear this." Elijah says as the witches drag me out to be seen. Nik's eyes widened as he see's me.

"Star, what are you doing here? Why are you holding her here?" He asks slightly aggrivated.

"Marcel may be able to keep us from practicing real magic in this town but as keepers of the balance we still know when nature has cooked up something new. For example, I have a special gift of sensing when a girl is pregnant." She answered.

"What? Are you telling me...Astraea's..." He said sounding so shocked he can't form a sentence.

"I know it's impossible but somehow its true." I said.

"What are you saying?" He asked sounding like he doesn't want this to be true but I can tell he really does.

"Niklaus...my sister is carrying your child." Elijah said wanting him to finally know.

"No it's impossible. Vampires cannot procreate!" He yelled not understanding this.

"But werewolves can! Magic made you a vampire but you were born a werewolf. You're the original hybrid, the first of your kind and this pregnancy is one of nature's loopholes." Sophie said trying to convince him this is possible.

"I have not been with anyone else since that night in mystic falls, Nik. And I definently would have told them this wasn't yours it's not like I want to be here held captive." I said defending myself.

"My sister gave her life to preform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us. We can keep them safe, or we can kill them." I put my hand over my stomach protectively staring at Nik. I don't know how I could be killed without the white oak but I don't want to find out nor do I want to lose my child. "If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Astraea won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress." Sophie threatens causing me to tense.

"Wait, what?"

"Enough of this if you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself." Elijah interjects.

"No. We can't, not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow, and there are rules." Sophie says raising her voice. Nik slowly turns to face her again.

"How dare you command me, threaten me with what you wrongfully percieve to be my weakness! This is a pathetic deception. I won't hear anymore lies." He says before brushing past Elijah.

"Niklaus...listen." He turns to me looking at my flat stomach listening in to hear the heart beat as I places a hand on top. Suddenly there is a stare down between everyone in silence. He looks back to Elijah who slightly smiles at his brother.

"Kill her and the baby. What do I care?" he says before walking out. I have to admit even though I know he doesn't mean it, it still hurts. I know he would never let harm come to me and he is just overwhelmed.

"Screw this I'm out of here, lijah." I say as I try to get to him and leave but i'm stopped by some witches.

I turn around to face Sophie as Elijah says, "No one touches my sister. I will fix this." To which Sophie nods and lets Elijah go as I stay behind.

I absentmindedly rubbed my stomach in circles not paing attention to the stupid witches who wish harm upon my baby, whenta question makes me snap out of my trance, "What makes youbthink you can control the hybrid?"

"She can't." We all looked and I seen ny big brother, Elijah Standing in the entrance.

"Not entirely certain I can either, but now that your coven has drawn his ire, I have a question, what prevents my brother from murdering you instead of cooperating?" He asked walking closer to Sophie.

She took a earring out of her ear then poked herself in the hand.

"Ow." I exlaimed looking down at my hand with blood on it.

I looked at Sophie shocked then said, "What did you do?"

"The spell my sister performed, the one that got her killed, it didn't just confirm her pregnancy. It linked me to Astraea. So anything that happens to me happens to her, which means their life is in your hands." Sophie said smug about it. "Klaus may not care about his own child, but its very clear what it already means to you. If I have to hurt her or worse to ensure that I have your attention, I will." She said causing Elijah to take a step forward threatingly.

"You would dare threaten originals?" He asked amused.

"I have nothing to lose. You have until midnight to get Klaus to change his mind." She says finshing the conversation. The witches finally disperse and i'm left alone.
