I set my phone down and looked over to Kol. "Want to have some fun before it is ruined and the family starts their bickering?" I asked with a smirk.

The door opens and in walks Nik.

"You went after Elena? What is wrong with you?" Nik asks walking up to her.

"Here we go." She says smiling amusedly at him.

Kol moves away from the mirror and sits next to me on the arm of the couch.

"Do you want another dagger in you heart?" He asks.

"Again with the dagger threats? Don't you have any other tricks?" I punch Kol's arm and he shrugs. God he is an idiot sometimes.

"Oh, go back to staring at yourself." I sucked in my lips letting out a small laugh.

"And who are you, my father?" Kol asks and I slap him upside the head.

Nik looks back at him before he answers, "No, Kol, but your in my house." Having sex with the girl I want. He thought but didn't say it out loud.

Nik steps up to him and Kol gets up, "Then perhaps we should go outside."

"Nik! Kol! Knock it off." I said standing up. They looked at me then stared right back at each other.

Kol turns to watch him walk away with a smug look on his face.

I punch his arm because of that stupid 'I won' face and I playfully glared at him he cupped my face and I mumbled out, "Kol, stop being a pest to your brother."

"How? He has left you alone except five times in our life. We fared better then Finn and Bex. So why you out of all of them to be a pest?"

"One: He only left me alone because of you. I'm sure without you I would be daggered more often. Two: I'm the youngest male sibling it's my job to be a pest to my older brothers." I kissed him on the lips.

"Just don't tick him off to much. We don't know what mood he is in most the time."

"Yes, darling. Oh, and, uh, I need to get something. You will be fine here, right?" I nodded and he kissed my cheek before getting changed and heading out.

"You really are good for him aren't you?" Rebekah asked.

"I guess so."

"I haven't seen you in forever. Later I have to invite someone to the ball at the grill, would you like to come?"

"I actually was planning to go there already. I'm meeting the kids there."

"Really?! Oh, I haven't seen them in a long time I miss them so much." Rebekah says excitedly.

"I'm sure they would love to see their aunty Bex although your technically a year older then them."

"I can't wait to see them again."

"Elijah would you be my daughters date?" I asked.

"Your asking me if I will take my 18 year old niece to be my date. Have you thought about what you said before you said it?" He asked.

"There is nothing wrong with it. You can keep a eye on her and make sure she has fun."

"Fine." I grinned at him.

Also Nik doesn't like Caroline in that way at all. So Nik is just bringing a different useless date he don't like.

I was in my room brushing my hair when I heard a knock. I put my brush down and walked to the door. I opened it and no one was in the hall. I looked down to see a box.

I set it down and picked up the skirt. The same color with lace and patches of clothing that has jewels on them. The waist had a design in the band that was golden. It was so pretty.

I got a call from my kids saying that they are there.

I put the dress on my bed all laid out and yelled for Rebekah, "Come on bex. My kids are there."

"Coming." I walked down the steps and she appeared right next to me with and invitation.

"Wow, doppelgängers do look exactly alike. She looks like a carbon copy." Rebekah nodded then I spot my kids. "Let's go get my kids before you mock them." I tell her knowing the look she was giving them.

"Jonathan, Aleah. My babies." I kissed them on the cheek.

"Mom..." They both groaned.

"First of all we are older stop doing that, second it is weird when you look only two years older then us." Aleah said.

"Do I have a face that says I care." They shook their head. "Then why must you make it seem like it?"

"Ok we get it." Jonathan said.

"You look so handsome I can't wait to see you both in formal wear. Also Aleah you are Elijah's date."

"Oh god. Why?" She groaned.

"To keep an eye on you. And Jonathan I got my eyes on you."

"This is what we get for coming back to them." Jonathan said to Aleah.

"Hey, you two." Rebekah said making herself known. She came from behind me and into their view.

"Aunty bex!" They got out the booth and hugged her.

"It feels good to be loved by someone in this family." Rebekah mutters.

"Yes, you will always have all three of us to be there for you." They all released each other.

"Thank god." Rebekah says with a smile. "Now let's get the mystic gang riled." I took my kids hands and followed Bekah to the bar.

"Careful Caroline. It's all well and good till she stabs you in the back." Rebekah says as we walk up to them.

"What are you doing here? And who are you?"

"I'm Astraea, Kol's wife these are our kids Aleah and Jonathan. Not that is you business but nice to meet you, Elena I believe and you are?" I ask the blonde trying to be polite.

"Caroline." I nodded and went to the bar with my kids.

"She's pretty, Kol is lucky." I heard Caroline say to Bekah.

"And they have children?" Elena asks Rebekah.

"1000 year old children one born before and one was still in the womb and magically born after." She replied.

"Bourbon please." I say to the bartender. He gets up and gets me a glass. "I'm glad to have you guys back." I side hugged both them while smiling.

I saw Bekah walking away from the two girls and she steps up to the blonde bartender. The faces the two girls make at her make me smirk.

I got my dress on as the kids went into their own rooms that Nik made for them for when they visit. I got the top on first and it hugged my chest perfectly showing off my huge breast. The skirt was fluffed out and looked gorgeous, I stepped in it pulling it to my waist and it showed some skin and hugged my curves. My hair was curled and a chunk of hair in the front twisted and bobby pinned to the side with crystals pinned in the strand.

"Darling, The guest are here. Don't you think you should come out." I heard Kol's voice say. I smiled looking at myself in the mirror.

"You can come in." I said. He opened the door and slipped in closing it while smiling at me.

"You look absolutely gorgeous. Although, I don't like how men will most certainly be looking at you." He moved closer to me and cupped my face. "I'm so lucky to have gotten you as a wife."

"You look very handsome but you already know that. And you know your my one and only, besides I'm so very lucky to have you as my husband."

"That reminds me I have a be special surprise for you later, I even talked to mother about it." He smiled lovingly at me and I pecked his lips.

"Mom! Dad! Get your asses out here!" I hear Aleah shout. Kol looked at the door then back at me kissing me a bit longer. When we pulled back he offered his arm which I smiled at and took.

We walked out to see our kids waiting. "Finally! You know all this mushy talk is very boring to hear." Jonathan said and I see he has Aleah's arm in his.

"My babies are so cute." Jonathan was in a normal tux and Aleah had a black dress that turned blue at the bottom.

"Let's go." Jonathan said taking his sister down the stair case.

"Shall we?"

"We shall." He kissed my cheek and we stopped at the balcony where the stair case split I smiled sweetly and we descended down the right set of stairs. People looked at us in jealousy and awe. I smiled at them then at Kol. I sorta loved attention I got from people when I was with Kol.

I split from him after a few minutes to get some champagne while he talked to Bex.

"Hanging out with your new besties?" I over heared it was the guy that seemed to fit the description Bekah gave me earlier of...Damon Salvatore.

"I'm the mayor, Damon. When the oldest deadliest family of vampires moves into your town, you welcome them with a smile." I smirked and felt a little smug. Oldest and deadliest is right!

"Hmm. Well, at least you know who you're borrowing that cup of sugar from." He looks around and his eyes falling on me and I gave him a deadly warm smile. He looked confused before focusing back on the mayor. He must wonder why I look so friendly seeing as I'm a Mikaelson.

I stopped listening and looked for Kol. Spotting him and drank the rest of my glass and sat it down on the table and walked up to him linking my arm with his.

"Let's annoy a Salvatore." I say as we make way to the young cocky vamp and the mayor.

When we reach the pair Kol unlinks our arms.

"Mayor Lockwood. We haven't formally met." He takes her hand in his then gives it a light kiss. "Kol Mikaelson. I hope your lovely town embraces us just as much as we plan to embrace it." He says smiling completely false.

Damon holds out his hand to shake mine. I smile at him and he kisses the top and I hear Kol slightly growl. Damon drops my hand and tries to shake Kol's hand.

"Damon Salvatore. Have we met?" He asks.

Kol obviously not liking him already, doesn't shake his hand.

"I've met a lot of people. And you don't particularly stand out." He replies with a smirk. I roll my eyes and we walk away and he put's his arm around my waist.

3RD POV

Also Nik didn't get caroline a dress and he has no desire to please her.

Astraea could feel Kol's cold fingers touch her bare waist and she slightly shivered at the contact. He decides to run his finger delicately on her back making her shiver more.

"Stop that." She complained.

"Why? I know you like it." He whispered in her ear.

"That's why. You can have more of me later." He keeps his hand there but stops the movement. She untangles herself from him and she finds Nik in the crowd. "I'll be back but I have something to do." She kissed his cheek and headed towards Nik.

"Hey, Nik." She smiled at him and he looked at her from head to toe noticing she is wearing the dress he specifically got for her.

"You look stunning, Astraea." He smiled softly at her admiring the way she looks.

"Yeah, thanks for the dress it's very pretty."

"Pretty dress for a pretty girl. And you make it work, you look like a princess."

Elijah interrupts by making an announcement.

"Uh, if everyone could gather, please."

Astraea makes her way to the left staircase where she stands in her spot with Kol at the top and their two kids standing below them. Nik is below the kids, Elijah is below Nik, Rebekah is below Elijah and last is Finn.

Esther walks down the staircase from upstairs and stops just beside the married couple.

"Welcome, thank you for joining us. You know, whenever my mother brings our family together like this, it's tradition for us to commence the evening with a dance. Tonight's pick is a centuries-old waltz, so if all of you could please find yourselves a partner, please join us in the ballroom."

Kol takes Astraea and Aleah hesitantly takes Elijah. Astraea sees Jonathan take the blonde, Caroline. She thinks remembering her name from before.

Give me love By Ed sheeran starts and Astraea smiles at Kol and start the dance. They were behind the doppelgänger and the young cocky vamp.

"I always love dancing with you, you know?" She said remembering the rare times they had danced.

"Well, we don't get to do this often." He replied.

"I love you." She said looking lovingly into her husbands eyes.

"I love you too, darling." Before they could kiss they switches partners and Kol danced with his daughter while Atsraea danced with Nik.

"Hey, love." She smiled at him.

"Hello, Nik." She replied softly.

"It looks like I did get that dance." He smiled at her and she couldn't help but grin. She didn't feel the same way as him and she didn't know of his feelings unlike Kol, Rebekah, Finn and Elijah. "You are a very good dancer, love."

"Well, you did teach me and Kol Isn't so bad himself." Klaus frowned thinking about his brother and the girl he fancies but quickly hides it with his normal smirk.

"I'll take that as a compliment." She shrugged but still smiled.

"Do as you please. Not like I can stop the big bad hybrid." She joked. Everyone knows she can do whatever to Nik and he let's her. She is like his queen and he bows down.

"Oh, I doubt that, love." She furrowed her eyebrows and was going to question him but the dance ended and he left. She shrugged shaking her head then went off to find Kol and their kids.

Astraea found it odd about the whole Esther - Elena thing so when Elena went up she hid in the shadows trying so hard to hide her dress as well. She smelt sage and felt something was off. She had a very bad feeling and usually her instincts were acurate. She saw Finn open the door and a more powerful whiff of the sage hit her nose.

"You're alone. Wise choice." Finn spoke calmly to Elena.

"It's only sage. I've spelled it so we can speak freely without fear of being overheard. That'll be all, Finn. Thank you." Finn closed the doors and looked around before heading out. She stayed and listened in. Whatever spell Esther used it wasn't working...or atleast not on her.

She listened for a bit before she heard something interesting.

"Nature's way of punishing me for turning my family into vampires. But there is a way for me to undo the evil I created."

"You're here to help us kill Klaus, aren't you?" Astraea went wide eyed and kept her gasp in, not wanting to be heard.

"One thing at a time, Elena. For now, I simply need your help." It was silent for a bit before moving around was heard in the room. "I understand Rebekah shared the story of my family...how I upset the balance of nature by turning my children into vampires."

"She said you did it to protect them from the werewolves."

"It's true but in no time at all, they began to feed on human blood. They ravaged the town with no remorse. Astraea kept Kol in line but the rest couldn't control it. And eventually Niklaus turned against me."

"How are you gonna kill him? He's immortal." Astraea really hates Elena right now. Especially Esther, how could she do this to her family?

"It will take time, magic, and your assistance."

"What do I have to do with it?"

"My children believe I'm holding this ball to celebrate our reunion. But in truth, I've gathered them together to preform a ritual. The first step requires blood from a doppelgänger. Only a drop. It's essence will be in the champagne toast later on this evening." Astraea was really freaking out now.

"-But they all must drink at the toast in order to be linked as one." Astraea's face immdiately dropped and paled considerably at Esther's words.

"What do you mean "linked as one"?"

"You said yourself Klaus can't be killed, but tonight's spell links all of my children together so that if one goes they all go."

"What?"

"I love my family, Elena, but they are an abonination. I betrayed nature when I created them. It's my duty to kill them." This little twit.

Astraea kept quite trying to think about what's happening. She didn't know how she could hear them and she didn't know how to stop them or tell her family what Esther plans.

She eventually found Kol with a very scared expression but like always he calmed her down and took her outside. He successfully took her mind off it with his voice and his comfort. No matter how much she tried to tell him what Esther plans the words never came out and it was frustrating. She couldn't understand what was wrong.

The clinking of glass was heard and everyone looked up. Kol had his plans set and whatever his mom did to scare Astraea wouldn't ruin it. He took her up the stairs and everyone watched them, Astraea had no idea what was happening but smiled nonetheless.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. I have an announcement." Esther looked at her son and smiled. The light brunette haired girl was still weary of Esther and went back to thinking about how to tell the rest of the family or at least get the words out to Kol.

Kol turned to his wife with a very happy smile. He bent down on one knee pulling out a box and Astraea's eyes widened. Everyone in the crowd loudly awed at the couple, some even quietly giggled or squealed.

"Astraea Marie the light of my life my world the most beautiful woman in this room, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" For the second time... he thought.

Astraea had tears in her eyes and the smile wouldn't wipe off her face totally leaving the thoughts of Esther.

To her, the ring was absolutely everything it had purple reflection with beautiful diamonds and the man who gave it to her meant more to her then anything. He knew her so well, and It's not just about the ring It's about the fact he still loved her and would enjoy renewing their marriage that made her feel good.

"Yes! yes, yes. A thousand times yes!" She exlaimed. He reached for her hand and slid on the beautiful ring everyone clapped and cheered for the couple. He got off his knees and hugged the life out of her. "Don't drink the champagne." She whispered quietly enough over the cheering so only he could hear her, why was that the only thing she could say? Was it a spell or the heartbreak? A spell sounded more plausible.

He decided not to question why and mumbled, "I love you," into her neck.

"I love you too."

"Ok. Congratulations to the happy couple. Champagne is now being passed around." We got ours and headed down to the crowd. "I invite you all to join me in raising a glass. It provides me with no greater joy than to see my family back together as one. I'd like to thank you all for being part of this spectacular evening. Cheers."

"Cheers." She put the drink to her lips and let it touch her lips but go back in without it entering her lips. Kol did the same making sure he didn't drink any for his wife's sake.

Although she wanted to tell her family what was happening not a word about what she heard would come out of her mouth.

She saw all the siblings drink and felt terribly guilty. She looked down at her ring and couldn't help but be in awe. To her this showed no matter what Kol was hers and he would love her, Always and Forever.♾

While people were leaving Astraea roamed around with her kids looking at all the space that was clearer then before.

"Tonight was fun. Uncle Elijah let me loose a few times. Let me tell you that was terribe being stuck by his side." Aleah complained to her mother.

"My brother can be a bore, the trick is to make him laugh. That's the hard part. Trust me I have tried. Very few times have I succeeded and not to forget the women he has-"

"Ok! No. Don't need to talk about uncle's love life." Jonathan interrupted. Astraea smiled at her kids in amusement.

"This place is huge, mother." Aleah said looking up.

"Uncle Nik only wanted the best for his family." Astraea said leaning into Jonathan with a side hug which he gladly returned.

"Speaking of uncle. Can I visit him in his painting room. I really want to ask if he can make me a horse picture again or maybe a unicorn."

"Go ahead." The mother - son duo watched the 19 year old leave to go to her uncle with a smile. She always asked for a picture when she visited Nik. It was a very precious sight to see him with the two kids.

"Thank you, mother. For inviting us."

"You are family. Why wouldn't we invite my little babies?" Jonathan scrunched his nose at his mother and he looked down at her and she looked up and the look on his face caused her to laugh.

"Stop calling us that. We are over a thousand years old."

"No matter how old, you two will always be my babies." Jonathan looked at his mother with a straight face causing her to laugh more. "Oh, my god. The look on your face right now is hilarious. I can't." She took a deep breathe but still laughed. "I can't." She kept laughing at him while he smiled at his mother and rolled his eyes.

"You are too much sometimes. I swear." He said in amusement. He loved that about his mother. He knew his mother would always be there for him and make him laugh. Kol was the type of father to have fun with and kill with. Astraea was the type of mother to make jokes and worry about you. He adored his parents and the way they were with each other.

"Oh, god. Now I need to go pee. Bye." Astraea quickly left her son while he cringed hearing his mother say she needed to go to bathroom.

Astraea seen Damon appear at the open balcony and heared groans so she quickly rushed over no longer wanting to use the bathroom.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey. Easy on the hand. Guy's a quarter back." She saw Damon push Kol over the balcony and rolled her eye's. Damn Kol.

When Damon went down she glanced at the poor kid on the floor before leaving him and jumping down after them making sure the dress stayed perfect.

"Hey! Knock it off!" She yelled quickly pulling up her skirt to get over to them. Kol was struggling so she swiftly snapped Damon's neck and Kol pushed him up and off to the side.

Stefan rushed out hearing the commotion and saw his brother lying there. "Damon." The rest of the family came out along with Elena. "What happened?" He asked the two.

Astraea helped Kol up and dusted her dress off. "Kol was being a pain and they fought so I snapped his neck before it got worse." The brunette explained.

Kol leaned into his wife's ear and whispered, "Thank you, darling."

"You may take him. And warn him, I don't appreciate people putting their hands on Kol." Astraea told Stefan. Elena knew why Damon acted out and felt bad she sorta caused his neck to be snapped.

Astraea walked with Elijah behind Esther as they listened to her scolding.

"No violence. That was all I asked." Esther said as they walked through the door. "Rebekah and Kol disgraced our family tonight."

"I'm sorry. I should have kept my eyes on him, he was acting strange. Again I'm sorry." Astraea apologized to her mother-in-law looking down at the ground feeling intimidated.

"It won't happen again, mother." Elijah said even though not biological she was still his mother since he was 3. He puts his hand on his younger sister's shoulder. Why she blamed herself, he could not understand. "I'll deal with them."

Esther walked towards the sister and brother and put her hand on their cheeks causing Astraea's head to look up at her mother. "Thank you. Both of you." She said smiling at them. "I wish the others were more like the two of you."

After a moment Elijah and Astraea leave her and run in to Finn not exchanging words as they moved past their older brother.

Finn closes the doors and turns to his mother. "Are we all right to speak freely?"

"Yes. The sage still burns." She says as she pulls out paper and sets it down in front of candles.

"You're not having second thoughts, are you?"

"Of course not. It's just Elijah and Astraea...their so moral. She's never even killed before."

"You aren't linking her are you?" Finn asks actually worried for Astraea. Finn truly thinks she doesn't need this and can live a life without them. In all honesty, if some dug deeper you might find he has a crush on the young girl.

"No of course not. She is a blessing. Without this family she can have a better life." She wrote all the names and looked at them before raising her head slightly. "You know what this means don't you? This spell I'm casting tonight will bind you all together as one."

"I understand. When it is time, I will be ready to die."

"Then we must complete the link." She stands up and takes a dagger to Finn's hand, slicing it and blood spills on the paper with the names.

She chants and the blood moves across the paper going on the names making sure to cover the names completely in blood until it looked like a blood tree.

"The link is complete. You are one." The paper sets on fire and they watch it slowly burn.

"I guess the pain in the ass Salvatore can wait. I can never say no to you." He gave in to his wife way to easily.

He rips her dress pieces off flinging them wherever and he put his hand on her thighs and she jumps up. Her legs around his waist and her hands on his neck as they kissed heatedly. He slams her into the wall kissing down her neck roughly while she moans quietly. He moves his hands from her waist down to her ass and he smirks when she gasps.
