   "What are you doing here with kids?" Shannon, the barkeep, asked me as I sat down with Naomi and Blake.

   "Nothing to do," I answered. "Whiskey."

   Shannon nodded, and looked to the two kids. "What about you?"

   "Water," Naomi said.

   "Same," Blake said.

   "Don't copy me," Naomi growled.

   "You guys are acting like five year olds," I stated, taking a sip.

  Naomi rolled her eyes.

  
   I took notice that there were less people in the bar than usual. "Where's everyone?"

   Shannon walked over with cups of water. "Some people wanted to stay home, the tornado warning's scaring them."

   "Hah," I chuckled. "Pussies."

   "Well, being logical," the barkeep said, wiping the counter a few feet away from us. "They're saying it might be really severe."

   I nodded.

  
   "I hate storms," Naomi said, sipping her drink.

   "Me too," Blake stated, making random shapes out of the fog on his glass.

  
   After finishing and saying bye to Shannon, we walked out. "You guys get in the car. I'm gonna smoke."

   Blake nodded. "At your orders, chief," he mumbled and got in the car. Naomi did the same.

   I reached into my pockets, and noticed I had a pack of Marlboro, but I lost my lighter.

   I checked in the truck, then went back into the bar to check as well. Nothing.

   Ironically, I saw a girl with a lighter. I walked over.

   "Can I borrow that?"

   She looked a bit offended, for some reason, but she nodded and handed me the lighter.

   "You're quiet," I said while lighting a cigar.

   "Everyone says that," she answered.

   "They do, huh?"

   She nodded again.

   "So, you know there's a tornado warning right? Dangerous for a doll like you to be out here," I said.

   "I know," she answered. "And don't call me doll, creep."

   "Then what's your name?"

   "Nicole."

   I nodded. "Well, hi Nicole, I'm Chorís."
