Rose's Perspective

It was the night after the incident with Azrael, I was still shaken by the thought of his hands touching my bare skin. My fear of death was more critical than ever before. If I didn't hate him completely after everyone he has taken from me, I hate him even more now. He is the one that ruined my life, everything is his fault. Why can't he just leave me alone? I started shaking a little as I quietly sobbed. I've been sleeping in the bed with Gabriel these last few days, I couldn't sleep alone without feeling like I am in danger. Gabriel shifted and made me look at him.
Gabriel: "What's the matter?"
Rose: "I just. . .can't sleep."
Gabriel nodded, not bothering to pressure me into talking at the moment. He just embraced me in his safe arms. I always felt safe when he wrapped his wings around me, like nothing could reach me as long as I was in his arms. I just started crying into his chest, letting out all of my emotions from the last couple of days. He was running his fingers through my hair, comforting me.
Gabriel: " Don't worry, you will always be safe with me Rose. Now, go to sleep"
He waved his hand over my face, releasing a golden light from his palm. I suddenly felt extremely tired and I blacked out from there. . .

Rose's dream. . .
I was in a black void, once again. This is not good. Who is visiting me? Or is this just an empty dream? As I looked around, I suddenly started falling. I kept on falling down and down. . .Then, I was in a red city, full of demons and sin. Is this. . .hell? Am I dead?
Lucifer: "No Rose, you are not dead yet. I am visiting you from hell, so apologies for the change of scenery heh"
Rose: "You're sorry? You distracted Gabriel from protecting me from Azrael all over a petty stupid argument! Do you know what it feels like to be so powerless as someone just suddenly dominates you and makes you feel small and vulnerable?!"
He just looked down, thinking deeply. That's right, feel the guilt asshole.
Lucifer: "I'm so sorry, just know I took care of him for you"
Rose: "What do you mean? What did you do?"
Lucifer: "Well, I am the most powerful of all my siblings. So I easily overpowered him and made him promise to not go anywhere near you again."
Rose: "Do you really think a warning is going to keep him away from me? You weren't there! You didn't see how desperate he was just to touch me!"
Lucifer: "Well, I did what I could okay? I refuse to kill another sibling of mine!"
His eyes widened as he just realized what he revealed to me. I was shocked. He killed one of his siblings?
Rose: "You what?"
Lucifer: "It doesn't matter, sorry for wasting your time. Till next time. . ."
Rose: "Lucifer, wait!!"
Suddenly I was back in the black void. Back to normal dreams. . .
End of dream. . .

I woke up, looking around to see what time it was. It was already the morning. How did time fly so fast in my sleep? I then could smell a delicious breakfast cooking in the kitchen. I went over there and saw Gabriel cooking Enmoladas (Enchiladas de Mole). My mouth was watering, Mexican food always made me feel free of my stress. I jumped to my chair and waited eagerly for Gabriel to serve the food. He just smiled at me and put my plate in front of me.
Gabriel: "Looks like someone was hungry"
Rose: "Well, I'll always be hungry for breakfast like this"
I smirked at him as I started devouring my enchiladas. Gabriel just chuckled as he slowly ate his.
Gabriel: "Wow, you are eating like I never feed you"
Rose: "Well, excuse me if you never really cook Mexican food. You were starving me from my Mexican cuisine!"
He just chuckled and kept on eating his food. After we finished, I washed the kitchen for him, allowing him to finally relax. We both sat down on the couch in the living room. We were going to the club tonight since we had to postpone our plans. I finally felt up to it.
Rose: "I have an idea of what we should watch. Have you ever watched a human film?"
Gabriel: "No, I am always too busy to watch that. Why? Which one will we see?"
I smirked as I looked at him.
Gabriel: "It better be holy. Not sinful. . ."
Aw, where is the fun in that? I'll trick him.
I put on the crow. He looked shocked at the amount of sin in this movie.
Rose: "So. . .what do you think?"
I gave him an innocent smile, fluttering my lashes. He just groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose.
Gabriel: "Let's not watch that again. Too gruesome. I just, can't"
I just laughed at his traumatized expression. His reaction was priceless.
Rose: "Well, let's start getting ready for the club!"
He just nodded and snapped his fingers, putting on his outfit and having his hair brushed nicely. I also realized I was in my dress with makeup and my hair styled. I smiled and nodded at him.
Rose: "Alright then, let's go!"
After having driven for a while, we finally made it to a club around the north side of Chicago. I always loved the architecture of the north side. It was beautiful. I walked in the club and was met with loud music. Gabriel looked curious as he was looking around the club.
Gabriel: "Well, this place is nicer than I expected."
Rose: "It should be heh"
He just nodded and rushed to the dance floor, holding my wrist. We started dancing as a song I have not heard in a while started playing, a song my dad used to mix as a DJ since I was a little girl.

I had tears in my eyes as I remembered being a little girl, dancing to this song and seeing the focused facial expression on my father as he mixed. Something I will always be grateful for is having an amazing father like him. Gabriel noticed my tears and as if he read my mind, he embraced me tighter as we were dancing.
Gabriel: "I am so sorry about your father. I know this song is meaningful to you"
I just smiled in appreciation at him. I had a lump in my throat, feeling all the pain I held in release through my dancing. Both Gabriel and I were lost in our intense dancing and stares into each other's eyes. My heart started fluttering as I was safe in his arms. I needed this release. All my stress was gone.
Gabriel: "Just know, I will always be here for you. You are my little sister now, even if you aren't an Angel."
I smiled with happy tears in my eyes. I had feelings for him, but hearing his words of what our relationship truly was put my heart at ease. That is what I've been feeling. I have a love for him as a family. He is my family now, I am not alone and I never will be.
Rose: "I love you Gabriel. I am happy to call you my brother now"
He looked into my eyes with a soft and warm smile on his face.
Gabriel: "I love you too my dear Rose"
He kissed me on the forehead, making me more at ease.

Lucifer's Perspective
That's it??? That's all that was?? I mean, thank Satan but still— I had no idea those feelings Rose felt for Gabriel were not romantic. My heart was finally put at ease, knowing I still had a chance with Rose. If Gabriel pursued a Romantic relationship, I would have no chance to compete with him. I mean, he is an archangel for crying out loud!! I am the devil!! Who am I to think I stand a better chance than him?? But, now I am focused on one competition. Azrael. . . He is my true opponent for Rose. I felt Rose's emotions when he was attempting to violate her, she was not comfortable with him. So now he stands no chance against me. Because unlike Gabriel, I am going for her. . .

Rose's Perspective
After we left the club, it was 11PM at night. It was hilarious seeing Gabriel trying human alcohol for the first time. He was all like "This alcoholic beverage is no match for the holy wines of heaven". I was dying of laughter! I even made him drink Vodka by itself, and he spat it out on the bartender. It was hilarious seeing his humiliated face. I apologized to the bartender and gave him a tip so he wouldn't kick us out, and it worked. I still couldn't get over Gabriel's reaction however.
Gabriel: "Ughhh get over it. . . I know I looked dumb but you don't have to keep reminding me of the memory with your thoughts!"
I just laughed as he complained.
Rose: "Oh stop whining, you don't have to listen to my thoughts all the time you know! I mean, I'm not surprised you could since you are a son of God, but can't you just turn off that power?"
Gabriel: "Not exactly, I always have to be alert for any danger in your mind. Like the danger of having that memory in your head!"
I started wheezing at this point. He couldn't be serious!
Rose: "Gabey boy, you are so funny~"
His eye twitched at my new nickname for him.
Gabriel: "You know what! I am just not going to listen to you anymore right now!"
He groaned in annoyance and I couldn't help but snicker.
Rose: "Alright! Whatever you say Gabey Boy~"
We arrived at the parked car and I saw that my car was glowing.
Rose: "What the—"
Gabriel: "Rose, stay back!"
All of a sudden, Azrael appeared. Only one angel can glow white, and that was him. I hid behind Gabriel, cowering in fear.
Azrael: "Oh Rose~ come out my love~ you have no
need to F̴̥͕͚̥̻̩̠̏͐̎̏͊̈Ë̵̼̪̩́̀́͗̇͊̀Ā̷̧̳̎̔̽̂̆̍̓͒͠R̶̦͚͈̘̜̺̬̋́͗̊̄̓͋̚ ̸̭̖̫͉͎̤̀́͗͠ͅM̵͉̙͖̀E̶̗̦̖̥̠̪̩̲͂͊͐!"

I screamed in terror and out of desperation, I took off my cross necklace and pointed it at him.
Rose: "I have the power of Jesus on my side and I am not afraid to use it!!!!"
Gabriel: "And you have the power of St.Gabriel on your side too"
Azrael just started laughing at Gabriel.
Azrael: "Oh Gabriel, you've always been foolish, little brother. You are the runt of the family. How can you have any power over me?"
Gabriel: "Because, as Rose has bravely stated. We have the power of Jesus and God on our side. You don't. You are a fallen Angel like Lucifer. Lucifer was the most powerful and he was defeated by Michael. Why? Because God was on Michael's side."
Azrael growled and started levitating.
Azrael: "Sure, keep believing that God is on your side. Once you realize he isn't, you will be free of the burden of the heavens. I can be powerful without God. Now, F̶̢̫̞̂̓̒̕A̶̞̳͔̫̪̪̙̜͂̉̄̂̋̃̆͘͝L̵̨̨̯̲̗̺̭̲͚̄́̈́͗̈́̂͌͛ͅL̴̪͔̖̜̿̚͝!̵̧͙̱͓̖͔͚̩́"

Azrael charged at Gabriel as Gabriel spread out his wings and blocked me from any impact.
Gabriel: "How about we take this fight to the skies, away from human eyes"
Azrael: "Why? Too afraid to prove to humans we are real?? You Christians are so foolish! How can you expect humanity to have faith in something they can't see??"
Gabriel: "Because, the people who truly belong in heaven will worship God with love, not fear!"
Gabriel then grabbed Azrael and zoomed to the sky with him. I could see their lights in the clouds, clashing. What can I do now? What if Gabriel is in trouble?? I can't help him! All I could do was pray. . .
As they were fighting in the sky, I saw a dimmed golden light coming closer. No. . . It can't be. . .
Gabriel fell beside me, golden blood pouring out of him. Oh no, someone help!!!
Rose: "Help!! Anybody!!"
Then, something flew up from the ground and landed right beside me.
Lucifer: "Rose, are you ok?!! What happened—oh no. Gabriel!"
Lucifer rushed to Gabriel's side and held his hand as he looked at his dying little brother.
Lucifer: "Hold on Gabriel, I will get you help. Just let me summon someone. . ."
Lucifer: "Sancte frater Raphael, veni in adiutorium et sana Gabrielem. Is auxilio eget!"
Suddenly, another golden beam was coming down from the heavens, he had a mint green outfit and was very bright.
Raphael: "Lucifer? Why have you summoned me?"
Lucifer: "Gabriel is in critical condition. He needs you. I don't know how much longer I can freeze Azrael for so he doesn't attack us. I will fly up and distract Azrael as you heal Gabriel and protect Rose."
Raphael nodded and immediately got to work on Gabriel, a look of concern brushed over his face.
Then Lucifer glanced down at me and gave me a warm smile. I hesitantly smiled back, fearing deception. Lucifer spread his six wings and flew up to where he had Azrael frozen in the sky.

Lucifer's perspective. . .
I came up to find that Azrael just unfroze, awaiting my arrival.
Azrael: "You think your silly parlor tricks can hold me off Lucifer? Hell must've really made you weak all these year~"
Lucifer: "Like you're any different. At least I am a King of a realm. And you're not~"
Azrael growled as I mocked him, toying with him. This joker really thinks he can even lay a scratch on me? Hah! Hilarious.
Lucifer: "Woahoh! Too fast! You almost lost balance with your flight there Azzy!"
He swung again, barely missing me.
Lucifer: "Aww, now you're too slow. Well, I guess God had to make one of us imperfect"
Azrael: "Stop mocking me and fight like a man you child in a man's body!"
Lucifer: "Look who is mocking now? Is that all you got? Azzy poo~"
Azrael: "Rahhhhhh!!"
We both collided as we used our power beams against each other. My power beam easily dominated his. I yawned into my hand as I held the power beam with one hand.
Lucifer: "Is this really all you got? Wow, no wonder why God sent you to just kill humans. You aren't even capable of killing Haniel if you had the chance!!"
Azrael: "How dare you!!!"
Azrael then tried sucking my soul out of my body, trying to use the only power nobody else has.
Lucifer: "Ok buddy, I've had enough of you now. If you'll excuse me, my Queen is waiting~"
I used a bit of my powers and sent him to purgatory, trapping him there for a bit.
Lucifer: "Heh, that should hold him off for a while, he will be too busy looking into his past that he won't even see that he has an opportunity to escape!"
Oh Azrael, what a mistake you made messing with me~

Rose's perspective. . .
I stared at the sky as I saw a red light approaching. Lucifer then landed beside me and went over to check on Gabriel.
Lucifer: "Oh Gabriel, I am so sorry. I've misjudged you and look where my jealousy drove me. I left you defenseless. What kind of older brother am I?"
Gabriel: "I-it's alright Luci. . . Just you b-being here for me now redeems your image in my mind. . . I forgive you brother. Not for your fall. . . But for your conflict with me. . ."
Lucifer smiled at Gabriel as they embraced each other. It seems I misunderstood Lucifer too. . .there is more to this man than meets the eye. And I will find out who really is the man under those horns and deadly sins. Who is he inside? I will find out soon enough. . .

Hey guys, surprise! Updated twice in a week! I wrote this whole chapter today and I am happy to say that I am making progress. Sorry if it's been a slow burn with Lucifer and Rose, but that is how I want the story to be. Not "They fall in love in first sight and fuck for the rest of the story to have porn over plot" I am more of a plot person. So yay! Anyways, thank you my readers! Till next time!
