Blood, pentagrams, knifes cutting the innocent, so much chaos. How did I get to this point? Who are they? A group of cloaked people who I thought were my friends were about to sacrifice me for a sick and twisted ritual. I am trapped in the arms of the man I thought I loved. The man that was there for me since I knew how to read. And now here I am, a rabbit caught in the headlights. Scared of the spotlight. I felt hands pulling me to the center of the pentagram. They laid me on a table that looked like one out of a horror movie of a psycho dentist.

They took out their knives, ignoring my pleads of mercy. Ignoring my begging last words. Then everything just stopped. I was alone in a dark void. Floating into the abyss. This is the end. But, it wasn't. My soul got sucked back to the living world. I was reborn. They gave me a second chance of life. Oh God, I am forever in your debt. Thank you for this blessing of a lifetime. Thank you for being there for me in my times of trouble. . .

18 years later. . .

*beep beep beep beep*
Rose: "Ughhhhhhhh shut the fuck up!!"
*crash*
"Take that you shitty alarm!! Hah!!"
Rose's Mom: "Rose, honey, who are you yelling at?"
Rose: "Uhh, nobody Mom, just my alarm clock. Hehe".
Rose's Mom: "Okaaaay, just show it a little more mercy towards it tomorrow. Ok?"
Rose: "ughhh fine. But I can't promise that it will remain untouched"
Rose's Mom: "Well no shit!"
Rose: "haha, what's for breakfast?"
Rose's Mom: "Just some waffles and eggs"
Rose: "but Mom, you know I really don't like eggs"
Rose's Mom: "Yes I know, but they are good for you. So eat it or starve. Your choice"
Rose: "Fiiiiine"

Rose quickly got dressed and rushed towards the kitchen. They live in a small house with just one floor and a basement. Her father passed away 2 years ago due to a heart attack from lots of family stress. So it was just her and her mother, Laura, facing the world alone together. Lots of shit has been going on in her life ever since 8th grade. Everything went downhill since that grade. Before that, she was decent. She had no friends but she loved to be alone and just relax. Talking to people was too overwhelming sometimes. She had several trust issues, but never remembered having a reason to hate people so much. But sometimes she gets nightmares of a weird cult sacrificing her.

She just remembers the images of a pentagram and blood. It is weird. She has no idea why she has those nightmares when she never saw anything or heard anything related to cults. But it is happening even today. Then towards the end of 8th grade, she had her first boyfriend. He was an extroverted person and a little popular. He was just your ordinary 8th grade skinny white boy. She thought she loved him, but he could care less about her. He barely showed her any affection and gave her such cold responses. She thought that was how love was. But she was wrong. She broke up with him after a year and a half of suffering with such a one sided relationship. And he kept on haunting her throughout her Sophmore year.

She lost her few closest friends that she thought truly cared about her, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. The instead became friends with her ex and he became the most popular boy in school. Lots of her friends turned on her and befriended him. She was alone again. Except, she forgot how to be comfortable with herself. She hated herself. She would make cuts to see if she can even still feel pain anymore. She became comfortably numb. Then, she realized that friendship is worthless. You really can't trust anybody. So she became comfortable in silence and learned how to live in the shadows. But her parents were always there for her. Especially her dad. He was the world to her. He didn't work since he had a work accident that caused him to be handicapped and unemployed. Her mother was a nurse. So her mother was absent most of her childhood. Her father was the one who raised her.

They would be silly together and talk about what they think life is about together. But her dad's family turned on him and made him become an outcast in the family. Yet, he still had to solve all the family problems himself. His family has a history of heart problems. So he died when Rose was 16. Life was too stressful. She never was the same since he died. She tries to act normal around her mom so she won't be concerned. But she can't help it. She lost hope. She lost her world. Her father. She was more alone than ever. Her mom barely knew her so she doesn't know how to comfort her. Most people go to their mother for comfort, but Rose always went to her father. So she visits his grave everyday after school and always talks to his spirit. Hoping he can hear her from Heaven. Life was hell.

Rose finished her plate and washed her dish.

Laura: "Alright mija, have a good day in school. Make friends"
Rose: "Ok mom, bye!"
Rose went to her car. She owned a Nissan Datsun 280 ZX. It wasn't a brand new car at all, but it was in decent condition. She got it because of the memories of seeing Gustavo Cerati's music videos with her father. They both loved Cerati. So she wanted the car he had in the Rapto music video. She drove with black leather gloves on. She turned on the radio and tuned into the song. It was playing "Deja Vu" by Gustavo Cerati. She smiled and started singing along. Imagining her father right beside her. As it neared the end of the song, she arrived at the school and parked her car. She was almost finished with her Senior year of High School. She was also finally a legal adult. Yippee! She lived in a Suburb in Chicago, Illinois. So yeah.

She entered the school building and went through the metal detectors. Unfortunately the metal detector went off for her.

Rose: "ughhh, you got to be kidding me"
Security (Tom): Let's see what's in your bag today Rose"
She opened her bag and took out her calculator. It was probably that stupid piece of shit. She then went through the detector again and it didn't go off.
Rose: "Have a nice day Tom!"
Security (Tom): "You too Rose!"

She then put on her headphones and put in Nine Inch Nails. Another music artist she loved: Trent Reznor. She practically worshipped him along with Cerati. As she was walking through the school, she saw her friend.
Rose: "Hi Rocky!"
Rocky: "Hey Rose! Hey, did you take time to consider my offer?"
Rose: "uhhh, what was the offer again?"
Rocky: "Good lord Rose, wake up! To have a sleepover at my house silly. Bri and Kylie will be there"
Rose: "Ohhhh, that. My mom said yeah, so sure"
Rocky: "Great! I am going to set up my house so nice! You will love it, I promise!"
Rose: "Great, heh, well I got to go. Byeeee!"
Rocky: "Alright, bye bye!"

Rose went through her school day bored as hell. She hated everything about school. There are always a group of dumbasses in class that always get on her nerves. She doesn't learn shit thanks to these bozos. So she keeps her headphones on, trying to zone them out. She just hopes that the teacher doesn't yell at her. But then again, this is high school, so they don't give a damn if she is learning or not. Then the last bell rung and she zoomed out of class. She ran down to her locker and went straight out of school. Then she ran into a guy that she has liked since her Sophmore year. His name was Nico. He was a little taller than her and had dark hair, dark eyes, and he isn't an asshole.
Rose: "H-hey Nico ! How are you?"
Nico: "I am better now. Especially after running into you"
Rose blushed
Rose: "heh, that's great. Umm, you wanna go out sometime? Like- Totally not a date! Like just as friends!! Heh"
Nico just smiled down at her and smirked.
Nico: "But what if I wanted that date? Hmm?"
Rose blushed even more
Rose: "O-ok. We can do that then"
He then winked at her
Nico: "Great, sounds like a date then"
Rose: "Yeah, um, have a nice day! I gotta go home!"
Nico: "alright, don't crash on the way home!"
Rose: "Nate!!"
Nico: "Sorry!"
Then she went in her car a blushing mess. He wasn't that popular like a jock, but he was very nice. She needed to get ready for her sleepover tonight though. She started driving home and then she got this sudden rush of pain. She panicked and had to pull over in a parking lot. She parked the car and held onto her head.

Cult Group: "Lucifer, animam eius suscipe. offerimus tibi hoc sacrificium. consumet eam. consumet eam."

Rose: "Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!"

Cult Group: "consumet eam! consumet eam!"

Rose: "Get out of my head!!!!!"
Then the pain ended. She was left in shock and was a nervous wreck. What the hell was that??? She then started driving again and went home as soon as possible.

Rose: "Mom, can I have some Ibuprofen? I have a horrible headache"
Laura: "Where do you feel the pain?"
Rose: "My whole head"
Laura: "oh lord. How can you drive like this???"
Rose: "I was fine Mom, I will be able to drive to Rocky's house tonight"
Laura: "Alright, but just to make sure, none of them are Lesbian right? I don't need you to deal with HIV or anything like that at a young age"
Rose: "Mom!!! No they are not"
Laura: "Watch your tone, and I am just looking out for you as a nurse. Sex is very unsanitary. Especially Oral sex, you see if you-"
Rose: "Okay okay Mom, I get it. Sex is nasty. Now please don't put nasty images in my mind. No offense"
Laura: "Alright fine, just be careful and behave"
Rose: "Yes mami"
Rose then headed to her room and packed her clothes for overnight. She finished and went to the front door.
Rose: "Bye Mami! I love you!"
Laura: "I love you too mija! Behave!"
Then Rose left and drove to Rocky's house. When she arrived she saw it was dark in there, with only candle lights illuminating the walls and floors.

Rose: "Hello?"
Rocky: "Hi Rose! Tonight will be so fun!"
Rose: "I am sure it will be. But it won't be nothing dangerous, right?"
Rocky: "oh don't be silly. What kind of friend would I be to put you in danger? Follow me downstairs. Everyone is waiting for you"
Rose: "Oh, okay"
They went downstairs. There was a whole lot more candles lit down there. In the center of the floor there was candles around a circle.
Rose: "What is happening?"
Rocky: "You know how it is usually tradition to do an Ouija board at a girls sleepover. Well, tonight I want to do something different. We will summon Lucifer!"

Rose froze and got so many flashes of blood and a cloaked cult. She then saw pentagrams painted in blood clouding her vision.

Rocky: "Uh, Rose? It really isn't that serious. Calm down. We won't hurt anyone hear. Just myself. You will be fine. You can just watch ok?"
Rose: "O-ok, if you insist"
Rocky: "Great!"
Everyone else was giving Rose a look of concern, confused at her sudden fear.
Bri: "Rose, you alright? You seem shaken up. You know this summoning shit never works right?"
Rose: "No, I trust you guys. I don't know why I feel like this"
Bri: "We are here for you. Don't worry"
Then Rocky took out a knife and cut her hand

So much innocent blood, scattered on the floor. Bang! Another drops dead as a sacrifice. Hands pulling her to the center. Hungry eyes, devouring her soul. Red eyes, chanting, Lucifer-

Kylie: "Rose! If you can't handle this you can step out. You look horrible right now. You sure you don't have any trauma with this?"
Rose: "Nope! I am fine! Hehe. I can handle this!"
Kylie: "Okay! Let's get started then!"
Rocky then painted a Pentagram with her blood and started chanting in Latin. She then finished the chant.
Rocky: "See? No big deal! Nothing happ-"
Then all the candles blew off. You could see the pentagram glowing red.
Kylie: "Shit Rocky! You actually did it!! Now undo it this instant!!"
Rocky: "I-I can't! I don't know how! I never did this!"
Rose was panting heavily. She kept on hearing their chants and seeing the blood. Blood. BLOOD OF THE INNOCENT!! Then there was a pair of two glowing red eyes. We all huddled up together and started shaking.
Bri: "What have we done????"
Rocky: "I don't know!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!"
Then that monster grabbed Rocky and teared her into pieces. He did the same with Bri and Kylie. Rose was the only one left.
Rose: "P-please, have mercy on me!! I beg you!!"
The red eyed demon looked down on her and stared. . .
