Leviathan

When he first felt something touch the core of his world, Sans felt terrified.

There were fewer than five beings in the entire Multiverse with the power to touch and modify the codes of a world, and most were a sign that their home was about to disappear unless their Creator intervened.

But as soon as it was touched, whatever that had been leave the core alone.

And then he passed by again.

And again.

Sometimes for a couple of minutes, for hours or days, the initial terror turned to confusion, that was not how the Destroyers worked, and although Nightmare was known for messing with the Core of worlds to spread his Negativity, he never did it this way if the rumors were true.

And yes, the volcanic activity and the emotions of humans and monsters were out of control, but I didn't think that was the goal of... whatever was causing this.

It was as if they were discovering what they could do. It strangely reminded him of when his children were still young Leviathans learning their abilities, storms, volcanoes, and hundreds of lives being lost left and right.

When he and Papyrus finally tracked down the origin of everything, he didn't hesitate to transform and start swimming there. Contacting Ink cost too much magic but if he didn't return in a week his brother would try.

As he approached Point Nemo he transformed into his Leviathan form, just in case he needed to fight whatever was causing this.

And what he found...he wasn't sure what it was.

It looked a bit like an oil rig, but the size of at least a city from where he was, the skies were dark with the onset of night and storm clouds making it difficult to see it clearly, but there were some things in it shining.

It was clearly not a natural construction, but it didn't even look like something Sci could build, not even with all the time in the world, much less the humans of his world, the location was too remote, he was sure that an attempt was made to investigate in this place and it was abandoned in less than a year because those involved had run out of food, bringing more was too expensive and the place was not suitable for agriculture.

So how did this thing get here?

Standing there watching from afar wasn't going to answer his questions, so he started moving towards it when he felt it start to rain, which wouldn't have been important on any other occasion.

Until it hurt.

From one second to the next rain fell so hard and so hard that it actually knocked him out of his giant form, and for one terrifying second he could swear he almost lost consciousness.

What had that been? That's not how rain should behave, no storm in the world had ever managed to do that before!

Even now under the water, he could feel the force of the rain hitting the surface, everything could very well be shaking with the force that it had behind it.

Throughout the night the rain did not stop, and he was forced to approach the structure from below, where fortunately the rain did not reach, hundreds of cables and systems that he was not even going to bother pretending to understand their function were hanging behind what looked like a glass, probably to prevent them from falling, or from being pulled underneath by something.

And Sans was planning to be that something.

------------------------

The rain had already stopped and the sunlight was peeking over the horizon when he finally gave up.

Not even with all his strength could he make the slightest scratch on that glass, trying to damage the columns that supported the machine were the same result, what was this thing made of that not even a quasi-god could damage it?

The damn thing didn't even flinch from his attacks! If there was something alive inside, they probably didn't even know it was out here.

The strongest wave he could conjure in his state barely made a scratch, which was immediately repaired by something that looked like a strange bug. This thing was in the middle of his territory, his element, and nothing that he did did anything to it!

Upon inspection, he was able to sense several minds within the place, two of them conscious enough to claim that they were the ones running the place,

Two people.

This had to be a joke and Sans didn't find it funny.

So, after a quick trip back home to tell his brother about this discovery, he returned a few days later and waited for these people to come out.

His initial anger had died down after a harsh scolding from Papyrus, although it was worrying that this thing couldn't be damaged and the whole rain thing, hadn't been intentional, and trying to destroy the place was too extreme.

He was supposed to be there to find out what they were doing, not try to kill them.

So he just circled the place for a few days, going down into the depths when the rain started and repeated, but nothing changed, if it weren't for his powers, he would have believed that there was no one living there.

Finally, after almost a week of surveillance and a volcano starting in Chile, both minds made their way to the east of the structure.

And although his brother had told him that he couldn't kill those people, he didn't say anything about scaring them to the bone.

He quickly calculated where they would come out since one of the few things on that side was a strange blue lens, which looked like a camera, and in his giant form, he clung to the balcony railing, waiting for them to come out and find themselves face to face with his eye.

What appeared behind the door was not what he expected.

He expected humans or Monsters, or at least another Sans if his luck was bad.

But this wasn't even close to that.

One looked like a green cat, which was now growling at him.

The other...

Well, he had fallen to the ground and seemed scared to have encountered him as expected, but now that he was facing them, he could feel a divine energy surrounding them, concentrated and small.

It looked like a little robot, with pink skin and orange markings.

And they looked so small with that cat trying to protect them and in vain trying to regain their composure.

Oh.

Oh no.

Was this a godling?

Silently and without looking away, he returned to the sea, ignoring the screams of the possible baby god demanding that he return or the strange bell sounds that began to ring by the time he was completely underwater.

He needed to think.

Touching and modifying the codes of a world with no apparent idea of how to do that...

Power to do that in the first place...

Hidden in the middle of nowhere, where most wouldn't ever find them...

Gigantic fortress that probably only a god could damage...

A possible guardian to protect them on their way out, who never seemed to leave their side...

Oh, fuck.

Who was the bastard that believed HIS world was the perfect place to be a daycare center?!

So he did the logical thing, he swam to the nearest island and using all his power he opened a portal to the Sans Council, the most likely place where Ink would be, or at least Dream.

Many dismayed screams sounded as soon as he leaned his still giant body through the portal, desperately trying to locate the Creator among the crowd.

"Ink, where are you?! It's an emergency!"

"Mer?! What happened, are they attacking your universe? Calm down, and explain to me what happened!" There was who he was looking for, coming out of the crowd and standing in front of the freaked-out Leviathan, it was clear that he was trying to remain calm but was still worried.

"Please tell me that the godling I just found in my universe is yours or Dream's!" He said quickly, not wanting to waste time.

Silence.

"Pardon me?". Was the only thing Ink answered, the light disappearing from his sockets, clearly caught off guard by his question.

And with a soul filled with fear every second, he told what had been happening in his world since the first scare months ago.

There was chaos around them by the time it was over, their Creator's reaction had all but confirmed to them who this child might belong to.

Ink hadn't said anything, Dream seemed to be having a meltdown and Swap seemed to have left at some point in the conversation and he didn't blame him, Sans also wanted to leave and forget this all happened.

Finally, after a couple of minutes, lnk's eyes returned to normal. "Take me there, I have to see this with my own eyes."

Fun fact: 5P Soul is different than the Soul of the rest of this Multiverse, that's why instead of a small god, Sans thought he was a CHILD god, bc his Soul and his divine aura felt like a child's despite being a adult.

It doesn't help that Pebbles is smaller than all the skeletons here.
