As the early afternoon pressed on, the empress rang for Daniel; who ran up the stairs at full speed and went to her room.

"You need me empress," He asked.

"Yes, could you bring another healing potion and pixie brew? I'm having hot flashes again." She said to him. Then after a sneezing fit and coughing, her skin went from pale to a creepy looking shade of grey. 

"Yes empress. Salem's here. He said we need Magellan for a spell." 

"Oh good. Thank them both for me."  She said.

He nodded yes to her, then went off to get what she'd asked of him. Ten minutes later he returned to bring the healer's potion and a pot of brew.

Then he looked over to her nightstand. Hadn't noticed the jars before. 

"What are these?' He asked pointing to the two containers on her table. 

"One is druid powder, the other is Lycan fairy dust." She told him.

"Those sound rare," He commented.

"Willow brought the fairy dust and her friends brought gifts for me." She responded to him.

"Wow she's got nice friends." He said to her.

"I thought so, too." 

"As soon as we hear from Magellan, we hope to get the spell going for you." He explained pouring the first cup for her.

"What spell is it?" She inquired.

"I don't know, I didn't think to ask him." He said. 

"So long as it works.' She said to him.

"Precisely. Do you have everything you need?" he asked her.

"Yes," She said coughing a little. 

"Good, I'm going to talk to Salem, see if he needs anything." He replied.

"Sure, go on." 

"I'll check in with you again soon." He said to her, then left shutting the chamber door behind him.
