Opening the door, the two stepped in, going to the kitchen to get the wine. Grabbing the bottle two glasses and a cork-screw

"Come on, she said leading him down the hall, to the back door entrance and out into her spacious courtyard. 

"It's beautiful," He said walking two steps behind her. Even at night it seemed surreal. The stars seemed brighter here.

Yes it is, I come out here to meditate a few times a week." 

He nodded. "If I lived here I would too." He then popped off the cork and poured a glass for each of them.

"Thanks," She said as he handed her a glass of the dark orange liquid.

"No, thank you for inviting me. It helps to be away from home," He admitted.

"Probably so," She said taking a sip.

"It's just that everything reminds me of her," He said.

"I wouldn't doubt it one bit.' 

Thanks." He said taking a gulp.

"You're my friend and i think you needed a night." She said.

"Not everyone will do that." 

Have you gone out with the guys?" 

"Yes but it's just Jim is avoiding me." He said to her. 

She stared at him a moment, then answered him." He's a fix it kind of guy. He can't fix your broken heart. He doesn't know how to help you." 

"That makes a lot of sense." He said, as the two talked over the bottle of wine in the moon light. Once it was depleated she walked him to the guest rom then off to her own chambers.
