As the next hour slipped away from their attention, Trinity returned carrying two shots.

What's this?' Daniel asked.

I bought you a shot." 

"ooh thanks but what is it?"

"Village idiot."

"What did you call me?" He asked offended.

"Oh no the drik is a village idiot. Cyclops scotch, warlock whiskey and elf gin." 

"oh wow." Commented the empress.

If you have more than three a village idiot you'll be." She warned.

He snickered fr a second.Thank you both I think I needed it." 

"Always. Yes you need it." The empress said.

"Another round?"  Trinity asked 

"Ah, yes." He answered then held up the shot."To my friends old and new." 

I'll drink to that." The empress replied and Trinity went to get more drinks.

"You seem a little better." 

Each day it gets better a little at a time." He said to her.

Good. you're starting to heal." 

There are times I don't think about it." He said as Trinity returned with drinks. 

The empress smiled, glad to see his mod lighten. Glad to see he was having a little fun, enjoying his stay in the Hollows.
