The next three days seemed to drag on. It wasn't rare that friends would stop over, but he warlocks had the same full schedule as she did. They would come see her when they had time but it wasn't often. She wanted to see the warlock but also wanting to make sure he was okay. Zeta's passing wasn't that long ago. Time would heal his pain, but not always at the speed one wished it to.

It was nice when someone wanted to visit not because they needed her help. The empress crossed the room and added a few items to the cauldron as she performed a safe-travel spell; concentrating on Daniel.  She knew he could take care of himself; but the spell would ease her worry of him. 

Glancing through the window at he suns' position, it had to be mid-day or a little after. She rang for the sorceress and the hob-goblin. After a good five minutes there was a knock on her door. 

Come in," She said.

The door opened slowly, revealing Sage carrying a silver tray.

"That was quick but I didn't ask for anything yet." 

I know miss but i thought a pot of brew and my frosted moon cookies would be nice." 

"How did you know I have a love of frosting?" 

I asked the dragon, last time he was here." 

"That's so sweet of you," She said.

"Enjoy it, miss." 

"Have you seen Ambrosia?" 

"If you can't summon her, she's with the gargoyle." 

"When you see her send her in," She asked him.

"Sure, anything else miss?" 

"No, thank you." 

The hob-goblin nodded, then left the office.

Pouring a cup and indulging in a few f the sweet but not over- powering treat, she smiled. After the second cup, Amberosia burst into the room.

"You need me?" 

"I wanted to know if you needed any help with the clients today." 

"It's been slow lately." 

"It never stays that way," Ralvania said.

"Join me for a cup?" She added.

"Of course," Amberosia said sitting down. After half a cup, there was a knock at the door.

"I'll get it! The sorceress announced, jumping up to get it.
