Chapter 19
The empress let out a deep sigh of relief. Excited to see Amberosia again, however a little complete solitude didn't sound too bad, either. Lighting her candles to promote a tranquil environment, then opening up the grimore of shadows and grabbed her feather pen. Finding a blank page, she began with a page about her dear friend. May she cross-over with peace and love. Still devastated and numb over the death; she worked through her own grief.
For the most part it had helped , she felt a little better. Getting up, checking supplies, herbs and her potion inventory. Then getting right to work on brewing the only depleted one, a healing elixir that she tried to keep in stock at all times.
Once that had been complete, pouring another cup of pixie brew she went back to the book. Writing out a few pages about Willow going off to the enchanted collage- E.L.F University. She was so proud of her.
Taking a long sip from the warm mug, glancing outside the window; watching the moon's rise for the evening. As the sky darkned and the moon's rose, she felt a calmness engulf her. Knowing things would end up just fine. By the time she finished with the spell-book, there'd been a light knock on her door.
"It's open."
Amberosia walked into the office, shutting the door behind her."Good to see you again."
"You too. How's the vampire?' She responded.
"He's doing great...How's Daniel?"
"In time, I think he'll be okay," Ralvania gave her honest opinion.
'Oh good. We really missed you," The sorceress told her.
'I missed all of you as well. Care for a little pixie brew?'
"I thought you'd never ask," She replied sitting down across from her.
The empress poured a cup for her. The coffee ritual was something she missed as much as the brew.
