Three hours later, the dragon was still going strong as she peered down to see a giant river surrounded by different birds. There were white ravens, crows,phoenix- sparrows, even a rare glitter chameleon dove. It was quite majestic, beautiful pale green and blue water shimmering in the sunlight. 

That's what she loved about these long travels, seeing unusual or remarkable landscapes and the natives, too. Sitting up, waiting and hoping to get there sooner than expected. She simply prayed to the goddess of fate that this potion would work. 

                          By mid- day Soranto was still steadily flying as fast as he could go. As always she worried for him. The dragon should rest soon, even fifteen minutes. She truly hated to bother him but if she didn't he'd fly until he passes out.She waited until they'd flown till mid afternoon. 

"You need to rest soon you've been flying almost an entire day." The empress told him.

"I'll land soon enough. I've gotten this far, I can keep going." He replied.

"I know you can. I just don't want you to hurt yourself." She reminded him.

"I'll land when I'm ready." He told her in a bold tone.

She said nothing but simply stroked his left ear. 

    The dragon flew onward for another twenty minutes, passing over small towns and a huge forest. Just beyond it a large dark green hill. The perfect place to rest him tired wings.
