The two of them walked deeper into the woods and the empress kept a watchful eyes. The trees even seemed dreary and every sound in the dark looking forest seemed to spook Vamier. She listened intently for any dangers in this foreign territory. Going another mile into these woods they both heard something. It was un-natural. Neither had ever heard such a blood boiling terrifying howl. It sounded like a demon wolf and a banshee mixed together. 

  Ralvania froze, a bust of darkness hit her in waves. The nausea crept up as she stumbled to the soft ground. 

"Good goddess, are you okay?" The gremlin asked panic stricken.

"I don't know." She paused, breathing deeper.

"I can read darkness. There's enough evil near it's making me sick." She explained slowly.

"Will you be okay?" He asked.

She stared off in the distance then looking at him, replied.

"I think so but honestly I don't know." 

"Is there anything I can do?" Vamier asked sincere intentions beaming from him.

"I think If I stop and rest here a little, I should be fine." 

                  Another ten minutes passed by them, the howling had finally ceased. The empress took a long slow breath then turned to her traveling buddy. 

"Help me up." She commanded.

He did as she asked, the two of them began to walk a little further, when they heard the howling again. This time it was much closer to them than before.He head began to throb like a evil cursed migraine. 

Not a few feet in front of them the two hear a demonic sounding growl. The empress and gremlin back up a few steps. 

"What is that?" He whispered.

"I don't know yet." She whispered back to him.

                  Leaping out from behind a group of blue black ferns were three giant hell hounds. They were the size of three werewolves put together, with the same temperament. 

The three large beasts snarled and growled ready to tear her and Vamier apart.The hell hounds let out a horrid sound hunching down and ready to strike. 

Just then Soranto came in charging through the forest, ready to maim the hell hounds. Ralvania watched as her faithful dragon yelled something she didn't understand and the hell hounds ran off whimpering as if they were in pain.
