"Empress, what's wrong?" Vamier asked seeing the panic in her eyes.

"Why are you scaling the wall?" She inquired.

"I'm sorry if it bothers you, I'll use the door. Most gremlins just crawl through windows, it's our trademark.

"I see." She responded.

"Is there something else?" He asked.

"It's a strange thing but I'll tell you." 

"Yes go on please." He encouraged.

"Several months ago I had a dream that a bunch of gremlins were taking over this castle by climbing up the walls as you had just doe." She explained to him.

"Did you misinterpret this dream?" He replied.

"What do you mean?" She gave him a confused look.

"Maybe you were over-whelmed with work and it was a sign that you needed to focus on your own needs, not other people's."  He told her.

"That makes way too much sense." She replied.

"Happy to help." Vamier replied.

"Let's go in, I won't take long I promise." 

He nodded as she opened the door and led him inside her home.

Amberosia saw that the empress had returned; and swiftly walked up to greet her.

"Miss, glad you're back. Who's the critter?" 

"He's a gremlin who needs my help. I'll be gone much longer than expected. I came back to grab a few things." She explained to her servant.

"Would you like coffee to go?" Amberosia offered.

"I'd love it, thanks." 

"I'll make it straight away. Things were fine in your absence." 

"I knew it would be. I have faith in you and Gina both." 

"You're too kind miss." She replied and went off to make the coffee.

The empress turned to the gremlin. 

"Feel free to look around while I grab a few things we may need." 

"Sure, I'd like that a lot." The gremlin replied.

         He gave himself a tour of the castle's main floor as she grabbed extra supplies for the long journey ahead. Quickly grabbing a few magical supplies, extra clothes and then headed off to her kitchen. 

"Miss good to see you." One of the kitchen servants greeted her.

"You too. I'm going to be gone for some time and I need to pack a little food with me." She explained.

"Anything specific miss?" He asked.

"Breads, crackers anything that won't spoil for a good seven or eight days." She told him.

"Got it miss." He replied as he loaded up a large basket for her, then handed it over.

"Thanks." She told him turning around and exiting the kitchen with the basket of goodies.

Amberosia ran into the kitchen, almost knocking the empress down.

"I'm so sorry." 

"It's fine." The empress stated.

"Here's your coffee." 

"You're a life saver thank you." Ralvania told her, then wandered around the castle until she found Vamier wandering around the back of the castle.
