Soranto leaped into the air vigorously flapping his wings, knowing it would be a long treacherous journey to Depheria.  Flying onward, determined to get a few villages behind them long before the empress would insist he stop and rest. As soon as he passed by Orwin Valley and Lucipheria the empress tugged his ear gently.

"I'm not landing yet." He replied in a harsh tone.

"I wasn't planning on asking you to land. I wanted to ask if you'd stop by my castle t" She told him. 

"I can o that for you, not a problem." The dragon replied. 

"May I ask how long it will take to get to my home by dragon? He's incredibly fast." Vamier asked. 

"I can probably get there in seven days maybe less." Soranto told him.

"That's amazing. It makes me wish I had a dragon. Thanks Mister Soranto." 

"You're welcome. I fly quite often." The dragon told him, enjoying the extra attention. 

"I wouldn't doubt that, I've seen several dragons fly in my day but you're by far the fastest I've ever seen out of all of them." Vamier told him.

"I think I'm going to like this little fellow." Soranto commented. 

Vamier had a huge grin across his leathery little face. Other than when the empress agreed to help him, it was the first time he had been happy about anything in weeks. 

They flew onward, taking only one short break half way to Goblins Hollow. The dragon didn't even nap ; just rested his wings for a good twenty minutes before he was ready to get going. 

                         When they had finally reached her beloved castle,  It was well beyond the dawning of the next day. Even the empress couldn't believe they had made it that quickly. When the dragon landed, the empress slid down his back and helped the gremlin down. 

"Thanks." 

"Think nothing of it.Would you like to come in?" She offered.

When they reached her castle doors,the gremlin crawled up the wall.

The empress just froze, as if she were in a trance.
