Ravenessa finished up the tour of their home by leading all of them into the library as Stergis was bringing in two pots of elven brew and several mugs for all of them. The group of them had gotten settled around the huge black onyx table in the middle of the impressive floor to ceiling magical library. 

"Thank you, all of you for your eagerness to help me." Vamier told them.

"We all know what it's like to have our homes threatened by something." Jim replied.

"Make sure you sip this. It's potent. If you chug it down, you'll vomit uncontrollably. Trust me." Stergis warned the newer members of the group. 

The gremlin snickered at the thought of the group throwing up everywhere. 

Ravenessa got up and walked around the library grabbing stacks of books that might be helpful. Setting them down in the middle of the table, she adressed the room full.

"Everyone grab a book and start looking for anything to do with this silver mushroom curse." 

They began sipping the brew and pairing off in teams hoping to find what they were looking for a little faster. 

                    The logic seemed to have worked, slowly they put together the mystery behind the silver mushroom and it's dreaded curse.  Richard had found a small mention of it in a book of dark curses. After another half hour passed by them un-noticed, the gremlin found stories about it in a dark history book. 

over the next few hours  several of them found pieces of information on the silver mushroom.  It was a magical plant that set off a toxin giving it's unsuspecting victim a death-like illness.  The mushroom could only affect those of a magical nature, born with the spark of magic.  Over time it would drain one's magical essance.  They let that thought sink in while sipping the drink Stergis had provided. 

"Now that we know what we're up against, let's see if we can't find a reverse spell or way to kill this silver mushroom." Ravenessa told all of them. 

"I hope you can pull this off." Vamier stated.

"We can and we will." Ralvania told him.

Each of them got back to work, hoping to find what they'd been looking for. Another hour and a half of research passed by them before the empress found the spell to end the curse of the silver mushroom.
