She walked a little faster , having no idea where this place was, but so far she didn't care for it. Perhaps with luck she'd find a way home. Any way home. 

  After a good eight miles, the heat was getting to her. Looking around this desolate place until she foiund a cave , half a mile to the left of her. It would have to be good enough for now. 

      Besides what other choice did she have? Stand out here in the blistering heat until someone happened to walk down this path?  Walking as quickly as she could with-stand it, the emprerss kept hiking it. 

The worst of the situation would be that the cave was occupied. In that case she'd have to be careful. Urgh, she hated being lost. 

Then she began to wonder how long she'd been here? An hour, maybe less? No one from her own realm would be looking for her yet.  None of them would know that she was here anyway, where ever here was. It seemed hopeless. 

   She needed to rest and then find someone to tell here where in the universe she was and figure out how in the gods to get home. 

Taking a deep breath, then kept walking as the cave was much closer. The empress powerwalked until reaching it. 

   Then standing just outside the cave, she listen for sounds to indicate anyone occupying it. After hearing nothing but silence for a solid five minutes or so; she slowly entered the dark musty scented cave. 

Within seconds she decided not to stay there any longer than nessesary. Just incase something did live there and hadn't come home..yet. 

  She hadn't thought about that until now.  A fifteen minute rest, then get going. Find that village. Ros- something.. Roswell, that was it. What a silly name for a town, she thought.
