Several days later, as always the empress was in her office. She'd gotten word that Amberosia did fine after the change. It was good to hear, these things had a tendency to backfire on occasion. 

However she had not heard from Daniel since his last visit. Maybe that was a good thing, she thought, over a cup of pixie brew that late afternoon. 

As she checked over her inventory and client list, a knock came to the door and she giggled for a few minutes. 

"Comne in, i'm not that busy." She replied.

Slowly the door opened and sage entered the room. 

"Trinity's here, miss." He said to her.

"Oh send her in here. Please bring more pixie brew, too.' She said.

"Anything else miss?" 

"No that would be it, thank you." She responded.

He nodded to her and then shuffled his chubby feet back out of the room. 

      The empress smiled and put the spell-book away. It would be nice to see the young witch again, it had been weeks since her last visit. It was strange, it seemed to take Sage a little longer than usual to return. By the time she began to seriously worry, he entered the room with Trinity and a silver tray holding a fresh pot of pixie brew. 

"Here we are miss," He told her, setting the tray down on her desk and leaving the room. 

"So good to see you. How have you been ? Please, sit with me." The empress shot the words out quickly.

Trinity nodded and sat down across from Ralvania. 

"Good, I can't complain", She said as the empress placed the cup in front of her.

"Things are just fine here, tell me about you." The empress engaged her in conversation.
