The two of them stayed at the pub together for a few hours. Even though they had broken up, it was still a good night together for the both of them. When the night at the pub came to an end, Daniel walked back with her and stayed until the dragon showed up to take him back home to the Nucandu forest. 

      The empress walked back into the castle and felt relieved, things had gone surprisingly well for them both. She slowly walked into the office and flopped into her favorite chair. She pulled out the spellbook, writing out the night's events with her friend, the warlock.  It had made her feel better that he wasn't hurt or rejected by it. She was happy that things were fine between them. 

   Grabbing a white candle and then lighting it, she took a calming breath. Letting her thoughts just go, she lost herself into a long and deep meditation; until her soul was completely at ease with her world. As her mind focused and returned back to her own reality, she looked to the window checking the position of the moon, It had to be half way till daylight. 

She blew out the candles and hid her spell-book as always then slowly forced herself to the bed chamber for the night.
