The next morning as Daniel slept in, not so far away on the edge of Goblin's Hollow the empress was wide awake packing her arsenal of magical supplies.. She had really hoped that Ravenessa had come out of her cloud of grief before now. 

After double checking the magic bag she downed another cup of the brew.  Then she called for the dragon and told Sage goodbye. Five minutes later she left the castle and waited outside. It had only been a few minutes before the dragon landed in front of her. 

"All ready to go?" The dragon asked.

"Yes whenever you're ready." She replied.

"Now's good. climb on up." Lylithe replied.

The empress nodded and climbed up. The minute she was comfortable the dragon darted off to the sky, destined for her new home with the warlocks.  She flew onward, with balance and grace. It was impressive how well she could fly, like her father.

The empress leaned back and enjoyed passing through the clouds. It reminded her of many adventures with Soranto. She just relaxed as they flew further and further from goblin's hollow.  She loved to travel by dragon flight. It was the fastest and most reliable way to go anywhere. Lost in her own thoughts for over an hour, then she peered down to see they were more than half way there.
