Ten minutes passed by when the empress gave a concerned look. Ravenessa gave a look back to her as if to say just relax, when Stergis returned with Daniel and Jim.

"Nice to see the both of you." 

"Daniel told me you were here for a visit. Who's this?" He asked motioning to Trinity.

"This is Trinity a new witch, my friend and neighbor."  The empress told him.

Jim walked over taking a seat next to Trinity, interested to find out about her as Stergis made more coffee.

"Good to see you, how have you been?" The empress stated to Daniel as he sat down next to her.

"I'm doing fine. Soranto told me you were here so he and Lylthe flew us over to visit."

"Good, Trinity could use a day with all of us." She said to him.

"I hope you don't mind that I brought Jim with me." 

"No, but why did you?" She inquired.

"I'll talk to you about that later when we're alone." He told her.

"Okay." She said, confused.

Then Stergis returned with a pot of brew and more mugs. The empress was more than interested to know what was going on with Daniel. She glanced over to see Jim and her neighbor hitting it off really well. She was happy to see that Trinity was giggling and blushing. She seemed to glow as she played with a loose strand of her hair. The empress knew the signals. Trinity had an interest in Jim. It warmed her heart a little.
