"No, this is Trinty, a sister of the craft." She explained.

"Oh, my apologies. It's nice to meet you." Ravenessa gretted her, trying to fix that oops.

"You too. It's okay I'm not that offended." She responded. 

"Would you like some elven brew?"  Ravenessa offered.

"Yes please," The empress replied for the two of them.

She nodded, excusing herself to the kitchen to start the pot.

The empress looked to Stergis, "Are things any better?" She whispered.

"Yes, she still has these... mood swings." He replied in a hushed tone.

"Those are going to take a while." 

He nodded.

A few minutes later Ravenessa returned with a large tray for all of them. She set the tray down and began pouring cups for all of them. 

"So how do you know the empress?" She asked the new witch.

"I recently moved to the cottage next to her castle." Trinity answered her.

"Oh good, we've all been friends for a long time." Ravenessa said.

Trinity just nodded and sipped the brew.

"Trinity works at the pub in Goblin's Hollow." The empress told them, hoping to get the conversation going.

"I bet you've met a lot of people that way." Stergis chimed in.

"Yes but I mainly just visit the empress." She responded to him.

     After the empress and Stergis broke the ice a little, Trinity began to open up in spurts. Soon after, Ravenessa did the same. The empress was more than relived to see them talking about spells and magick over elven brew.
