A long moment of silence filled the air as the empress turned to her.

"Why'd you leave the earth realm?" 

"I was given the chance to leave and I took it." She put it simply.

"Is it that bad there?" 

"Some people like it, I just always have felt that I was meant for something else." She replied, staring into her mug.

"I can't argue with that, but don't you miss your family?" She inquired.

"No I really don't. I never felt that I truly belong there." She admitted.

"I'm sure they miss you." 

"No they really don't. All that I left was my mother and she hated me." She replied.

"If I'm asking too many questions, please tell me so." The empress stated.

"I expected the questioning, it's fine." 

"Oh good. What's earth like?" 

"You've really never been there?" Trinity asked.

"Never." 

"There's good and evil there." She said, taking a sip.

"How is that possible?" She asked.

"Here people are good with a dark being here and there. On earth all people are good and evil." Trinity explained.

"All people aren't good?" 

"No people are selfish, greedy and under-handed. People are also nice, considerate and loving." 

After a confused look, the empress asked her; "How do you know the difference?" 

"That's the hard part, you don't until you get to know them." 

"No wonder you don't trust all you meet." 

She nodded yes.

"Are there just people on earth?" 

"There are other creatures on earth but not like here." 

"What other creatures?" 

"Dogs, cats, birds, other sea and land animals. There are a lot but there's no magick." 

"Are there dragons?" 

"No." She replied.

"Faeries?" 

She shook her head no.

"Gnomes?" 

"Nope." 

"No wonder you left." The empress commented.

The young witch let out a cackle of laughter before handing the mug to her.

"I must be going. Let me know when you plan to go see the sorceress. I'll probably go with you." 

"Okay." She replied as the young one headed back to her own home.
