The following evening Lily had prepared late night pixie brew and muffins with a few of the servants. Haze stepped into the kitchen. 

  "What's going on?' She politley asked.

"Willow should be here in the next hour." She replied.

"Oh good. I've been looking forward to it.' Haze responded.

"Where is the empress?' Lily asked her. 

"In the court-yard, meditating." She replied.

"That sounds like the empress." The queen replied.

       Haze laughed, as Lily finished with the muffins and pixie brew. She'd made two pots. One for Willow, and one for them. 

"Come on with me," The queen said.

"Court-yard?" Haze guessed.

"Yes, we'll have pixie brew until Willow gets here.' She responded.

"That'd be nice," Haze said to her., following the queen out to the courtyard, through the glass backdoor of the palace. 

"Pixie brew?' She called to the empress.

Deep in her trance state, Ralvania jumped up a foot in the air. 

"Don't do that! You scared the crap out of me." She shouted, then regulated her breathing, slowly.

"Yes, I'll take a cup." 

The queen nodded, pouring a cup for all three of them.
