Then an idea struck Lily like a grenade of thought.  She smiled and looked to the other two. 

"I have an idea," She said.

"What is it?' The empress asked.

"Haze, how do you feel about vampires?" The queen asked her.

"I like the few that I've met, but I don't want to be one.'  The fairy responded.

Giggling for a moment, Lily smiled, sipping more wine. 

"No, I have someone you should meet. I'll invite her to the graduation celebration." The queen replied. 

The empress had a moment of blocked thoughts.

"Who?" 

"Dawn." She replied.

"Who's Dawn?' Haze asked.

"She's a vampire fairy we know." Lily told her.

"A vampire named after the daylight?" Haze said finding it ironic.

"She's a fire fairy that was turned a couple of years ago." The empress filled her in.

"Who turned her?' 

"Are you sure you want to know?" She asked her.

"Yes, tell me." 

"Salem." The empress said.
