Once they climbed onto her back, lilythe took off to the skies.  They way she flew through the air reminded the empress of Soranto, the dragon's father. She thought of the majestic black dragon more often in the last few weeks. She needed to go visit him, one of these days. Looking over to the sorceress accompanying her; she could see some of her inner spark of life returning, a few drops at a time. She looked as if she were enjoying the flight. 

    To make sure, the empress scanned Ravenessa's soul.  The darkness is still there but it seemed to be slowly releasing it's claim on her. More than relieved she let out a long breath, watching the clouds pass by them. It would be nice to see her fairy god-child again. It had been more than a few moons since the last visit to the fae kingdom. She leaned back and enjoyed the ride as the wind played with her hair, whipping  in the breeze.

    She knew with lilythe's young age and speed, they'd be there in an hour or so. Not bad at all. She turned to the sorceress. 

"Do you feel a little better?" 

"Yes I think so. you were right." She replied, nodding.

"That's all we want, honey." She said with sincerity in her eyes.

"Thanks for all of your help."  

"Always." Ralvania told her.

      As they flew over one territory to the next, at lightning speed, the empress couldn't believe it. just under forty minutes, the dragon had flown them into Fairy- air. Even Soranto wasn't this fast, though she'd never admit it to him.
