By the end if the evening the only true mishap had been Lily's dramatic exit. A few hours later the empress had td the rest of her friends goodbye. She and Haze sat in her office, half crocked from the night's consumption.

    "That was definitely an event I'll remember." Haze told her.

"Is that a good thing?"

Haze let out a giggle. "Yes it is."

"Good."

"I keep thinking about the queen I don't wish to cause her anymore grief." She said giving a look of shame.

  "Stop it. Focus on magick and your new life not old guilt."

  "What about Lily?"

   "Let her cool off. I've known her since she was born." The empress told her.

"You have?"

"Yes I grew up with her mother." She said.

"Wow. Okay I'll try harder."

"It's late. We should sleep." She replied.
The fairy nodded, heading to the guestroom for the remainder of the night.
