The following day Stergis and the empress were having elven brew near the fireplace. 

"How did you know?" He said, out of the blue.

"Know what?' She replied, unsure as to what he had meant.

"That the fairy kingdom invite would get her out of the castle?' He asked taking a sip.

"She loves it there and It will be good for her." He nodded to her as Ravenessa came into join them. 

"Good morning my dear." 

"Same to you. I need coffee." She said and he quickly got a cup for her.

"Thank you." She replied to him.

"When are we going to the fairy kingdom?" 

"Not long after coffee. Lylithe will be here soon." Ravenessa nodded, drinking from the mug with need.

"That sounds good she replied in-between sips.

"I want you to have fun while you're away." He told his mate.

"I'm sure that I will." She replied, filling the mug back up. 

"The empress nodded, sipping her own mug until twenty minbutes later she heard a sound she knew well. It was wings flapping and then the thud of a dragon landing. It was followed by a loud roar.

"Sounds like the dragon is here." 

"I'm ready if you are," The sorceress told her.

"Come on, let's go." She said as the sorceress hugged her mate goodbye.

The two walked out of the castle and saw Daniel standing by the dragon.

"Hey, I thought I'd visit Stergis for a while." He said to them.

"Oh good." Ravenessa said to him.

Daniel nodded and went inside to find the other warlock.

Ravenessa turned to the young dragon. "Thank my friend." 

"Anytime. Climb on up and I'll get us out of here." The dragon replied to her.
