Over the next few days the empress prepared and made sure everything was ready for the ritual. When she wasn't working on the ceramony, she was with a few of her clients throughout the day. It had kept her more than busy, but she liked event planning.

    Now that everything was ready she could relax for a while. It should go over well. There weren't too many factors that could go wrong. She wasn't sure if Lily would show up or not. Wanting to help fix things between Chaos and the queen; but she didn't know how to do it. Perhaps stay out of it and just be there for both of them.

    She summoned Sage and waited. It never took him too long to respond. He was an excellent friend and even better servant. She adored him. Then glancing through the window as a few local neon blue speckled hummingbirds flew past the window. It was one of those moments that brought simplistic joy to her. Then a knock across the door made her jump.

After a few minutes she replied.
"Come in."

Slowly the door opens, and the hob goblin entered with a large silver tray.

"Here miss your late afternoon brew." He greeted.

"You are a gift from the goddess." She said as he blushed.

  Then setting the tray down poured a cup and looked at her for a minute.
"I need something miss."

"Anything for You." She said.

  "I'd like to get to know Chaos." He said.

"Let me guess you want to be friends bit are shy and need a little help."

He nodded to her.

"Yes I'll talk to her for you." She said as he bowed to her and left the office.
