After an hour and a half, the vampire looked at her for a moment before finally saying something.

  "I don't require any rest so when you need to stop for a break, please just tell me." 

"Oh, thank you I wouldn't have thought about vampires not needing rest. The only other vampire i've met more than once is Salem." 

"He's only half." Magellan pointed out.

                     They hiked further and deeper into the woods, Her nerves seemed more calm the more she talked to the vampire. She began to wonder if he had put a vampire enchantment upon her, to settle nerves. Even if he did,it probably was for the best. 

"How much further is it?" She asked looking him in the eyes.

"We haven't even hit the half way point yet." He explained to her.

                    She nodded then looked up at the three moons. Two were almost full but the middle one was in the crescent phase. Good, they aren't all full, she thought remembering three full ones were an omen for change, sometimes drastic change.

             Walking along side the elder vampire, after a couple of hours, really wanted to restbut ahead saw a group of mountains. Thinking it would be better to get over that challenge before any rest. 

       It had taken them about forty minutes to climb over the huge mountains, leading to a small valley with a forest on one side and a large pond on the other. Once they made it to level ground in the small valley, she spoke up.

"I think I'll take that rest now." She told him.

"Yes, I'm surprised you made it this far without a rest, perhaps you have a little warrior blood in you."  He complimented her.

"You never know." She told him as the two sat near the pond.
