Amberosia's assumption had been correct, twenty minutes later Sage tapped on her door. 

   "Yes, what is it?" She asked him.

   "Another critter at the door, miss." 

   She looked up from the desk, nodding to him. 

"Send em in." She instructed, as he nodded and went to get the creature waiting to be seen.

                       Five minutes later Sage brought in a creature that was mostly gargoyle, but a hybrid. He was about a foot and a half taller than Sage, with pale grey skin with a few lines and wrinkles, showing his age a little at a time. 

  "Thanks for seeing me miss." He told her.

"No problem. Isn't it a little early for gargoyles to be out?" She asked him.

"I'm only half gargoyle. I'm half elf, too." He told her.

"Oh, um what's your name sir?"  She asked.

"I'm Marvin." He told her.

"Good to meet you. Please have a seat and tell me how I can help you today?" 

"I need to get out of Goblin's Hollow. Where is the border?" 

"Oh, go behind this castle and walk north east about twenty miles." She explained to him. 

"Thank you kind miss." He told her.

"I'm called Amberosia. If you don't mind my asking, why are you leaving Goblin's Hollow anyway?" 

He gave her the saddest look she'd ever sen before answering her question.

"My mate dies last moon. I don't know what to do without Siena....She was all I had." He slowly explained.

"How terribly sad." 

"Yes, it is. I'm going on a wander quest, see where I end up." 

"If you find yourself back this way, stop in and say hello." She said.

"If I return you will be my first stop." 

"I will look forward to it." 

"Thanks again for your help." He told her.

"No problem." Amberosia told him.

"I better get going." He told her. 

Amberosia waved good bye as he left to start his wander quest, glad to have helped him. Leaning back in the chair for a moment, then she summoned the hob-goblin. Twenty minutes later, Sage walked in with a tray for her. Hobbling over to the desk and set the tray down with ease.

"I wasn't sure but I thought you could use a fresh pot." He greeted.

"That's what I was going to ask for." She told him.

"Well did you need anythin' else?" He asked her.

"No but thanks. Just trying to keep my nerves calm before tonight." She said.

"I'd be nervous too." He replied, nodding and wobbled back out of the room, leaving her alone with her thoughts.
