A few minutes later stepping outside of the castle, she saw a battle troll wincing in pain. 

 "Hello there. What troubles you so?" She asked with genuine concern, bending down to look into his watery grey-green eyes.

"I stepped on a huge thorn, one of the giant roses got me." He explained showing her the 9 inch thorn in the bottom of his foot, hand pained with a few droplets of his dark orange blood. 

"One moment and I'll have that fixed right up." She said, running into the castle for a minute, returning quickly with a few things to help the poor creature.

"Now hold still, this will sting but it's going to help you." She warned him.

"I'll try to miss." 

       She quickly pulled the thorn out as he yowled in pain, holding still for the most part.

"Sorry mister."

"It's alright, really." He replied in a gruff tone.

              Then she poured a yellowish herbal oil on it, that caused a strange numbness, easing the throbbing pain in the bottom of his foot. 

"I'm almost done." She said.

  Then wrapped a bandage around it several times. 

"There you are sir, rest here a while before you try to go." She told him.

"Yes thank you it was a painful walk here." 

"I believe you." 

                  Amberosia talked to him for a few minutes, then excused herself back into the castle, having a feeling this wouldn't be the only visitor this day. She try loved to help them, even in times of her own worries. 

She checked to see that it was around mid-day. Time seemed to pass whenever she helped other beings in need. She was sure it wouldn't be long before the next creature tapped upon the castle doors.
