The sorceress slept there for the next several hours until Sage had come in to wake her up. He set the tray on the table with ease, he wanted to wake her, not scare her to death.

"Sorceress?Miss?" He said, then gently shook her. 

Slowly she rose from her extended power nap. Her eyelashes fluttered and sitting up straight she looked at the servant. 

"Good afternoon miss." He told her.

"Is everything okay? Have you heard from her?" She asked quickly.

"I've heard nothing, I brought coffee so you'd get a cup in before any creatures show up seeking your guidance." He told her. 

"Thank you, I'm hoping for a response soon." 

"Response to what, miss?" Sage asked.

"I sent a few messages out for help with this around dawn." 

"Good I hope someone will help." 

"I sent messages to three friends of hers, I'm sure at least one of them will reply." She explained pouring a cup  and waiting a moment. 

After a few minutes she took a sip, then another. Needing to wake up quickly, there were things to be done. She had to keep researching through these books to try and save the empress. Needing to figure out where she had gone and why. 

     By the second cup, she'd gone through a book of dark sigils, then another. Stopping only long enough to refill the mug. Amberosia kept downing coffee and then going through book after book for the next couple of hours, until Sage came into the dungeon.

"Sorry miss, someone's here." He said.

"Send them into the office I'll be there in a minute." She instucted the hob-goblin.
