Walking up to the dragon, as he yawned and stretched, looking at her.

"All done with the queen?" He asked.

"Yes we can go." She informed him in a soft tone.

"What happened? Why did we come here in the first pace?" He demanded to know. 

"Our young Queen is with fairy." She explained to him. 

"What? Lily's having a baby?" He asked more than stunned by the news.

"Yes our Lily's grown up."  She commented to him. 

"When will the fairy child be here?" He asked.

She climbed onto his back after tossing a few muffins into his large mouth, then answered him.

"Two months from now, she'll have the new fairy princess" She explained. 

Once he had eaten the small treat, she waited a moment then asked, "Can we go now? " 

"Oh, yes." He answered and then leaped to the skies, flying at a moderate speed.

                 There was no real reason to rush back, nothing had been wrong. There had been no dangers present for the last few weeks. It had been refreshing, giving her more time to help her apprentice, granted the girl gave more help than asked for it. 

     However getting close to the girl had been rewarding. Amberosia wasn't just a servant or sorceress in training, but her closest friend. She was close to her god-child, Lily and a few others, but with Amberosia, it was just a different kind of bond there. 

     A huge vulture was flying rapidly in thier direction, squaking a shrill blood-curdling tone at them, as Soranto darted out of the way. 

             "Why didn't you just eat him?" The empress teased.

         "I thought about it, but they taste just putrid." He told her.

The empress just giggled. Looking down at the spectacular view below them, she could tell they were about half way home. She sat back up and relaxed as he flew onward.
