As the next few months passed by Soranto spent more and more nights with Kadrid. The empress had been more than understanding , even though he'd be gone for days at a time. Latley she'd not needed him for any quests as work had been more managable, most days. Amberosia seemed happy with the new position of buisness partner, no longer an apprentice. 

            The new servant, Sage was working out very well for not only Amberosia but the empress liked him as well.  It was mid-day, she'd seen imps a few goblins and a sorcerer, and the day wasn't half over yet. She'd been getting a little swamped today even with the help of her sorceress, it had still become overwhelming. 

          By the late afternoon, her crowd of creatures died down, and she thanked the goddess for that small favor. Taking a long deep breath, she leaned back in her chair and exhaled. Sage tapped on the door then wheeled in a cart of fresh coffee and pastiries for her. The hob goblin smiled and nodded before leaving her office.

               Opening the spare drawer and pulling out three lavender pillar candles; she placed them on the large desk and lit them. She then poured a cup of brew and waited a moment. She wanted to enjoy a moment of quiet. Then she took a long gulp of the pixie brew. It was a nice reward after a long day.

             Half a cup later, there was a knock upon the door of her santuary. 

'For the love of karma now what?' She thought.

"Enter please." She responded.

             The door slowly opened and the hob-goblin shuffled his feet as her entered the room. 

"I'm sorry to intrude miss." He began then clearing his throat, continued. "There is a dragon here to see you and it's not master Soranto." 

"Thank you I'll be right there." She told him.

Nodding to her then slowly he shuffled his feet out of the room and back down the hall.
