Another hour of time slipped passed her when Amberosia ran into the room.

"Empress!Empress! " 

"Yes, what is it?' She replied.

"Soranto's back, infront of the castle... I knew you wanted to talk to him so I asked him to wait for you." The girl sputtered out at once.

"Thanks." The empress replied, then darted out of the office.

She ran down the hall and out of the castle doors and didn't stop till she was face to face with the dragon. 

"Where were you?" She asked a little harsh. 

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Willow's birthday party was today, I missed it." She told him flatly.

"Oh I am sorry about that."  He responded.

"Where were you?' She repeated the question in a softer tone.

"I was with Kadrid, she's had our egg. Now we wait until it hatches." He told her. 

"Oh that makes a diffrence and I am happy for you both." 

The dragon nodded. "I wasn't aware of the party before I left." He told her.

"It's okay there will be other parties i'm sure." She replied, hugging the dragon and going back inside the castle. She walked in and went straight to her lavish office. 

            Fifteen minutes later the gargoyle had returned and dropped off an envelope. He nodded to her then flew off to his cave to go back to sleep.

She nodded, thanking him for the help. She stared at it for a minute before tearing it open and reading over the note.
