"Yes of course the minute it happens." Lily promised her.

"Good, now do you need anything for her?" She asked.

"No I think we've covered most of it." Colin told her.

"I'll still bring her a gift." 

"If you wish we'd like that." Lily replied.

                       The three of them spent most of mid-day having drinks, talking about the new baby, the kingdom and other nearby villages.

"Hows the gargoyle working out?" Colin asked. 

"Oh much better than I anticipated. After a few weeks he found his way." She informed him.

"How's Soranto feel?" Lily asked.

"It took a few moon cycles, but now they're good friends." Ralvania told her.

"Oh good." Lily replied.

The empress nodded and drank down her coffee, then waited a few minutes.

"I'd love to stay longer but I pulled my dragon out of bed early. I had better get him home." She explained.

"Oh here take some coffee and muffins with you." Lily offered as Colin went to get the thermos and a bag for the treats. Then handed them to her.

She hugged both of them goodbye before leaving the fairy castle.
