"What did you just say?" The empress replied, in a bit of shock.

"Kadrid is pregnant with my baby." He spoke slow, as if he were talking to the village idiot.

"Wow..I can't believe it!" She exclaimed. Three seconds later she added; "Congratulations, I'm so happy for both of you." 

She hugged him then asked; "Does Salem know yet?" 

"She's going to tell him today." 

"Splendid to hear. On to the fairy kingdom." She told him.

The dragon nodded to her and she climbed on. He took off to the skies, flying quickly through the warm summer air.

                                 The empress was filled with excitement, not just the dragon's good news but she was excited to see her godchildren again.  Excited to see Lily, but even more curious to see Willow, who was just over two and a half. Fairy children grew at a faster rate, Willow would be the size of a four year old child by now. 

                         Ralvania let the wind blow across her delicate face with her eyes closed. A simple pleasure. Then she looked down to see they were almost half way there. She must have gotten lost in her thoughts longer than expected. 

     It seemed to happen often with these flights to the fairy kingdom. She found it the most relaxing way to meditate.  Ten minutes later she peered down again, then sat back up. Grabbing the thermos she twisted the lid off and poured a small cup. Tasting it quickly, glad it was still warm enough to tolerate, thank the goddess. 

"You okay back there?" The dragon yelled.

"Yes, why?" She shouted.

"You haven't said a word in the past two hours." 

"Have we been flying that long?" 

"Yes." 

"I must have been lost in thought." She told him.

"I'd expect nothing less." Soranto replied.

She giggled softly and downed more pixie brew. She peered down to see if they were getting close when she felt him lowering the altitude and ten minutes later smoothly landing near the fairy castle.
