"I'm listening."  She informed the girl in a stren tone, sipping the warm liquid.

"We have been helping out a few of the darker creatures latley." Amberosia whispered.

"Yes my dear, go on." The empress encouraged her.

"I've noticed a lot more whenever you're away." She continued.

"What?" 

"They seem to come whenever I'm here alone, am I a magnet for evil?" She asked, horrified by the thought.

"I don't think that's it. How many dark beings did you see today?" Ralvania asked her in a soothing tone, hoping to calm the girls fragile nerves.

"There were a few dark gnomes, evil half-elf , a wicked imp, um... a banshee sister and a dark shadow shifter." She spat the list out.

"I think today you have just dealt with too many dark creatures , take a deep breath." She told the girl.

Amberosia glanced down at the dark hardwood floor and back up again slowly. She hesitated for a few minutes.

"Maybe you're right." 

"Of course I am." The empress told her downing the coffee. 

"What should I do?" The girl asked.

"Relax, I'm going to look into it."

"If you say so." She replied, taking a gulp from her own mug.

"You really think we have nothing to fear?" She asked Ralvania.

"Not yet we don't" She replied flatly.
