Over the next few weeks swamped with work, the empress enjoyed the break to the fairy kingdom. Little Willow had been a ball of energy both physically and magically. She'd had a blast with the changeling toddler.

Willow had learned so many new things in a short amount of time.  She had already performed transportation magic, by moving object around her room with ease. The little thing wasn't even two yet. The empress thought about her great-god child with admiration and wonder; as they flew across the open skies. She looked down but couldn't see a thing in the clouds below. 

"Where are we?" She yelled to the dragon.

"Damn near there." He shouted back to her.

"Good." She hollered back.

She just waited staring at the skies for the next fifteen minutes as the dragon's speed slowed down immensely, until he landed just before her home. She climbed down and nodded to Soranto before quickly going inside the castle doors. 

As she opened it, letting out a deep breath. She loved the quests and trips she had taken, but it was always a wonderful feeling to come home again. Heading straight for her office, glad to be back and she had plenty to do- but those things could wait. She needed a few minutes in her comfy chair and a batch of pixie brew. Slowly opening the door her apprentice stood there pouring the coffee for her.

"Hi" 

"How'd you know I was back?" Ralvania asked her.

"Ludwig saw you right before the dragon landed." She replied.

"Oh." The empress replied taking her coffee and getting situated.

"How was the trip?" Amberosia asked.

"It went well, anything here?" 

Amberosia froze up.

"Did something happen?" She asked wide eyed and leaning closer to the girl.

"Is everyone okay? Answer me." She demanded.

"Calm down, I'll tell you." Amberosia replied after letting out a deep breath.
