As the weeks had turned into several months, the empress would spend a few days each moth helping with princess Willow. She love helping out with her great god child. Before they knew it, they were celebrating little Willow's first birthday. 

   It had been a grand celebration. The whole kingdom had been filled with creatures wishing the princess happy birthday, watching her run all over the castle with delight. It had been a huge success. That had been months ago. Willow was now seventeen months old still unsteady when it came to flying. However she had mastered running jumping climbing and walking, for the most part.

The empress had kept her word. Each moon she would come and see the changling fairy. Willow had grown at a remarkable rate each time she'd see her. The toddler fairy's magic strengthened over time as well.

Willow was a prodigy of magic. The empress knew it from the first time she'd held the half fairy. Every time she'd gone to see the little one, she'd done something unbelievable or down right amazing. 

The empress held onto Willow just a moment longer before saying goodbye, again.

"Thank you. I don't know what i'd do without you." Lily told her with sincerity. 

"Of course. We're family." Ralvania told her before leaving the fairy castle and meeting up with Soranto for the next flight home.
