Lost in her own thoughts, watching the sun fade over the horizion, as the moons rose in the hours of night and the stars glittered the dark purple skies.  She walked through the forest with her rescuers as the nocturnal beings of that forest began to rise. 

    Looking up to the skies, she saw a light purple feathered owl looking at her flashing it's amber eyes in the moonlight. It hooted at her before flying off into the night sky.  Then several bats flew over-head. She loved watching all of the nocturnal creatures scamper around the forest. Glow in the dark pixies, chimpmunks, gargoyles and nocturnal gnomes, dwarves scurried to the left and right of them. 

"Empress?" Magellan stated.

"Huh?What?" 

"Amberosia would like to stop." He said.

"Oh sure, I wasn't paying attention, oops." She said with a smile.

                 They walked another two miles before taking a rest. Amberosia pulled out a few tye-dyed blue and pink apples and baked bread.

    "Ooh I love those." Ralvania exclaimed.

   "That's why I brought them." She said.

    "That was thoughtful, thanks."  She said, taking a bite of the almost too sweet multi-colored fruit. Once it had been completely devoured, she dove into the home=made bread until hers was gone. It had a hint of cinnamon and ginger.

  "Of course miss. I don't need a long rest, we can go soon." Amberosia stated.

"We can wait until you're ready." Spoke the vampire.

Amberosia blushed and then quickly glanced away. 

"I just need to rest my feet for a few minutes. I'd like to get back home soon, too."
