Chapter 104
Grateful to have him with for help here. She wouldn't have known where the newer captives were being held. She would have most likely been caught already. Following behind him, she looked at the creepy dim lights sputtering, almost in a strange code. It made the walls of the narrow tunnels look even worse. It was the most dreary looking shade of grey. So dull, it was depressing. As if sadness, true emptiness had a color and this was it. After a couple of miles, she felt as if her soul had a severe mental disorder, like her essence had a nervous break-down.
She followed behind Magellan closely, then they came to a forked path. The sign on the first tunnel read despair. The next was pain and agony. The third one read enslaved.
Magellan looked at her for a long moment.
"If I had to guess, she's probably in the last one."He informed her.
"I think that'd be better than agony and pain." She commented.
"No kidding, come on we need to get moving before we're noticed." Magellan commanded.
Amberosia nodded and followed behind him as they swiftly darted past the caves lined with glowing metallic black bars. There were name tags down each cave, written in red. Some were creatures that belonged there and some weren't, like her empress. Some were witches, warlocks, banshees, hybrids, gremlins, she'd even seen a demonic-fairy.
"Don't stare." Magellan advised her.
"Are we going to have to fight to get her out or are we going sneak her out?" She asked the vampire.
"I will fight If need be." He said.
"Maybe It won't come to that." She replied.
"Your innocence amuses me." Magellan told her.
