After a good twenty minutes, she stood up and stretched a second. 

"I think I've rested enough, we can continue on." 

"Good." He said, standing up and leading her into another forest with caves scattered to the left of them. 

Hesitating for a few minutes before she spoke again.

"Of all the creatures to walk through hell with, I'm glad it's you." She told him, grateful for his assistance.

"Anytime." The elder vampire stated.

                     They hiked through hills and valleys, and a few curved, rocky pathways for the next hour. Her legs burned but more than determined to keep going, she said nothing of the intense cramping in her calves. She didn't know for sure, assuming they'd be there anytime; however she didn't want to ask 'are we there yet' like a whining child. She just walked with him for the next thirty minutes until he stopped suddenly.

   "What is it?Why'd you stop?" She blurted out.

"Silence." He ordered her.

  "Sorry for being rude, but I thought I heard something." He explained.

"No problem." She said.

              As they kept going in the latest hours of the night, Amberosia had to ask.

"When we get there is there anything I need to do?" 

"Just listen to whatever i tell you, please. Oh, and do not get separated from me." He warned with a stern look.

"Stay with you and listen,got it." She said.

"You truly are a good woman." He complimented her.

"You are too nice, makes it hard to believe you're a vampire." 

He flashed a wicked little grin as she blushed before looking away.
