As the moon began to rise into the sky and the nocturnal hours of magic began to commense; Amberosia shuffled down the hall. Excited to be chosen for such an honor by the empress, yet nervous at the same time. She hoped not to make a fool out of herself in front of the boss.

             She lightly tapped  the door, half- afraid to knock too loud. What if the empress had forgotten? Or what if she were in the middle of something important? The girl lightly tapped one more time, hoping not to be a bother. 

          "Come in." Ralvania yelled through the huge door of the immense library. 

       Amberosia did as she'd been instructed and lightly opened the heavy wooden door. 

  "Hello miss, I'm not late, am I?" 

"No,no you're right on time. Care for a cup of coffee?" 

"Oh yes please. This is nice having coffee with the Empress;wow."  She nodded grateful to be given such a rare opportunity.  

Sipping the mug, the girl waited for instructions.

"So tell me, you know nothing of magic? No E.S.P, visions or premonition work?" The empress asked in between sips of the steaming liquid.

"I don't think so miss." 

"Let me be honest with you. This is going to take a lot of discipline. I have to re-train you how to think, does that make sense?" She sipped down the mug's contents and poured another. 

"Kind of." 

  "I figured that much. I have to teach you to look at things a diffrent way." 

"That makes a little more sense to me, thank you miss." The girl answered slowly sipping at the drink before her. 

"When you learn magic from scratch it's a lot of studying, mesmerizing spells, dream work. You are part of the worlds magic; it is a part of you." 

Amberosia simply nodded, happy to learn whatever her empress was willing to teach her.
