"I'm so sorry miss, I didn't mean to spook you,"  The girl told her. 

   "Oh I know dear, was there something of importance?"  Ralvania asked her.

"To me, yes." She said.

"What is it?" She asked. 

"It's almost sundown, I noticed you spent most of the day down in this dungeon. I just wanted to make sure you were okay, mistress," Amberosia replied. 

"How kind of you dear. I'm fine, nervous about a few things," The empress admitted to her student. 

"The vampires?" The servant girl guessed.

"Not exactly." The empress replied with a worried look, as if she were helping flesh eating zombies.

"What is it?" Amberosia asked then after another thirty seconds, added.

"You know miss it's okay for you to ask for help once in a while." 

It only slightly annoyed her, that this time the student was right. She spoke not a word but for the longest time just sipped the last cup from the pot of coffee.

Then she just looked at the girl: for a long moment. 

"I'm nervous about the underworld not the vampires." She finally confessed.

"You've battled dark creatures before and prevailed." She reminded the empress.

"I've battled a dark fairy or two, not an infinite number of evil souls, demons or their leader." The empress told her with a depressive look of hopelessness and despair. 

Amberosia gave her a look of pity, hoping to help she rang for the butler, and told him to bring another pot of coffee and a spare cup. 

"Thank you." 

"I'll sit with you miss and help you prepare for it in any way I can."  She replied. 

Ten minutes later ,the butler returned and the two of them sipped the brew and got right down to work.
