After a good two and a half cups she pulled down a few of the huge books and began going through them. Hoping not to find anything too hideous, but knew she had to be prepared for anything. 

  When someone came to her for help, she'd meet them in the office and quickly take care of the problem; usually with a potion.  Once they said goodbye, she got right back to researching dark methods.

At one point during the whole vampiric mess she thought of asking the warlock brethren for help but decided against it. The empress couldn't see putting anyone else in danger. There were enough at risk as it is. She would stick to handling it with Salem and Pandora. Having an overpowering feeling that they wouldn't hear from the vampires, she knew there would be a trip to the underworld involved.

Trying as hard as she could to not dwell on it, but the thoughts kept creeping back to her like a spell gone wrong. She also knew stressing out about it wasn't helping. However over worrying seemed to be all she was getting done.

Lost in her own world of thoughts, fears and what if's, she didn't hear the servant girl come in, until she had cleared her throat. Ralvania spun around, startled by the girl's presence.
