I folded my arms trying to not look at Emerald.

"London I'm worried about you" she spoke softly.

"I'm not a baby anymore" I glared at her.

"I know that but...."

"Emerald you were just an accident" I sighed.

"You were born when it was very late for your mom" I shook my head as she held her chest tightly.

Tears ran down her cheeks.

"Are you seriously older than me?" I smirked.

"I could mistreat you everyday without getting caught" I leaned towards her.

"It's because I care about you I don't say anything" she spoke softly.

"You are only forced to care about me" my face became emotionless.

"I got to bail my boyfriend with mom's money without her knowing" I smiled.

"You won't tell her right?" I smirked.

"I won't" she spoke softly.

"Good girl" I smiled.

I sat beside my mom in her bed.

"She will be okay" Dr. Washington smiled.

"Thanks" I sighed.

"You remind me of someone I loved" she smiled softly.

"Really?" I looked at her.

"He wanted everyone around him to smile but didn't think he was in the position to smile" she laughed.

"That person sounds like a good person" I smiled softly.

"Yeah...well I got to go" her face changed.

"Yeah" I smiled nervously.

She left mom and I alone.

"David how's....school?" mom smiled weakly.

"Great" I smiled.

"Any friends?"

I froze.

"You should try interacting more with people" she sighed.

"I have you mom that's all I need"  I pretended to smile.

"So no girlfriend?" she wined.

"Mom!" I blushed extremely.

"You are so cute" she squeezed my cheeks.

"Mom stop that!" I wined.

"Nope" she squeezed them harder.

"Sorry" she pouted.

"I really think you act cute you could get a boyfriend" I smiled nervously.

"Really?!" she blushed extremely.

"Why are you blushing?" I laughed nervously.

"Uh....I wanna try that!" she ran to the javelin area.

"Oliva am I hard to talk to?" I sighed.

I kneeled down into my position.

"Now!" she shouted.

I felt the wind against my face as I ran faster towards the finish line.

"Time?" I breathed heavily.

"10.12 seconds....you'll definitely catch up to Usain Bolt sooner" she smiled nervously.

"Yes" I smiled proudly.
