Luna's P.O.V.

It was 3 in the morning and I woke up screaming. The back of my neck was still in pain. I felt something cold dripping down it. It was blood. Oh my god. The dream was real.

Maddie started screaming as well. She's crazy like that. Tears were rolling down my cheeks and everyone was talking to me. I couldn't make out what they were saying. I just wanted to scream, it felt good. Then, probably due to loss of blood, I felt dizzy.

I decided to get up and get some water. I finally calmed down. But the pain didn't stop so I decided to go to the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Yes you heard me right, the tree house  has a fully stocked medicine cabinet. What I saw startled me.

I was a little transparent. Just a tad. But when I looked back at my real self, I was normal. I sighed and opened up the medicine cabinet. I got what I needed and found everyone asleep again. The clock read 4:00.

Everything was fine, then Jess  screamed. I saw blood on the top of her hand and knew what happened. I covered her mouth and asked her what happened. I told her the same thing happened to me. I got her medication and we stayed up the rest of the night.

Jessica's P.O.V.

I woke up screaming. I had just had a nightmare. Luna covered my mouth and asked me what happened. I told her. She told me the same thing had happened to her and told me about some things that will happen. We stayed up the rest of the night. I told her that we couldn't tell the others and that she was lucky. They woI lent ask her questionsbecause the bite was on the back of her neck and mine was on my hand.

We spent part of the time that we were up researching vampires.
Trying to find out what happened to us. We were determined not to go back to sleep in fear of the vampire. We decided that if it came down to it, and we had to, I shuddered at this, drink blood, then it would be animal blood. I read that it would quench the thirst of the vampire.

Oddly enough we weren't tired the next morning. In fact it was as if we got a little too much sleep. We were really hyper. Alex seemed a bit worried about the scar on my hand, but I explained to him that it was only a scratch that I had gotten from almost falling out of the tree house. It bled and scarred over that was all.

Michael seemed a bit worried about Luna being so hyper. She's never been that hyper for as long as we've been friends. I was glad that the nagging wasn't as hard as I thought it was and that lying came so easily to me even though I used to hate lying and I couldn't lie at all. That day Luna and I had a girls day.

That's what we called it but we were actually figuring out our new powers. Apparently we weren't full-blown vampires so our powers were very weak but definitely better than a human's average strength, speed, eyesight, etc. Our eyes remained normal except for my green eyes were a bit darker in some places that made the lighter part look like what the moon looked like that night. Luna's dark blue ones did the same.  Thankfully no one noticed since it was only about a shade darker than our regular eyes.

Everything was fine until the day after. That day we were all hanging out and everything was fine until she came back. We were playing truth or dare when we heard something outside. It sounded like a wounded animal was in the woods. So we went in to find the vampire. She had a group with her this time and this time it was real.

"Oh ho ho ho ho. It's nice to see you again." She said in that sickly sweet voice. "Relax we've only come to take your souls. Don't worry it won't hurt. It will be over in a sec." Just then it was as if an invisible force pulled Angela forward. "Lets start with the girls and give the boys time to run. It'll be fun finding them."Jake ran forward and a blue shield appeared in his hands.

He blocked the vampire's attack and, with Luna alongside me, we charged. Just then angel wings burst from my back and I started flying towards the vampires. They looked as if they'd seen, well I guess a ghost wouldn't be scary to them, so, a werewolf (the're afraid of those) and ran away. I felt less energetic and my eyes changed back to normal as if I'd never been a vampire. All the energy left and I laid down for a minute. Then I was okay and I would have thought this all a dream if I didn't have my little reminder.

Hi sorry I havn't posted in a while. I've been busy with my other story "The Loner" and have had serious writer's block with this story. I finally wrote more to it and hope you enjoyed. Thanks to you three readers. It means a lot to me to know people like my story. I was thonking of discontinuing it until I saw that so thank you so much.
