"So is there anyone in particular you want to kill?" the demon asked me. "No, not really." I said, shrugging. I sat down on the couch and thought for a moment. "Hey, what's your name anyways?" I asked, genuinely curious. "Poe" he said proudly. "Poe . . ." I repeated in my head . . . seemed legit. "So do you have any idea of who you're going to kill?" Poe asked once again. "Yeah, well about that. I have a plan at least. Well it's sort of a plan. I know I don't want to get caught and they'll be able to catch me faster if I kill someone I know. So... my plan is to choose a random house and kill whoever's inside unless it's a person I know." I stated. Poe seemed to understand as he remained quiet. Ever since he came around, Shadow talked much less; I wasn't complaining of course, but I kind of did miss it.

"You said you'd give me powers. What exactly are they?" I asked, interested. "Well, it sort of depends on the person. While one person may have many powers another may only have a few." Poe explained. "So how do we even find out what my powers are then?" I asked, exasperated. "Hopefully we'll know most of them after your first murder, otherwise only time can tell." Poe finished. I didn't really feel any different than I did before. The only exception was my sharper senses. It felt like my original five senses had been enhanced on several levels.

I looked out the window, pondering. It still wasn't dark enough to kill, so I'd have to wait. At least that meant I'd have more time to plan, but something told me I'd probably just use the time to sleep. I wondered if while I slept, I became vulnerable to be attacked if neither Poe nor Shadow could defend me. Just because no person came into these woods, animals did and I really didn't want to wake up to a bear in my face. So, I decided to set up some safety measures. I went outside and got to work, ultimately spending hours setting up complex traps. By the time I finished, not even the world's smartest human could avoid them. I set the last trap and looked up only to see that it was pitch black outside.

"I guess it's time to head out" I said calmly. "Yes, the sooner the better." Poe replied mysteriously. "Let me get changed first." I decided. Carelessly, I slipped on some black jeans with vertical grey stripes and a red tank top, pulled on my black hoodie, tied my hair up, slipped on my black "red bat-eye" mask, pulled on my favourite black boots, and finally slipped on my leather gloves. I glanced at myself in the mirror only to give my full attention when I spotted my mask. It was a last minute effort, and only consisted of a black Halloween mask I'd cut eyes in the shape of bat wings into. I added a sort of fabric over each of the holes and painted them blood red, making sure I could still see out of it. For once in my life I'd been proud of myself so I decided to keep it.

(Mask image attached; had to draw myself xD. Sorry if it's sideways)

Let's roll." I said jumping up and rushing out the door, carefully locking it. I sprinted through the woods, barely avoiding my own traps and then I slowed to a jog as I came closer to the edge. I'd run a random direction and now I was near a dimly lit street. What a coincidence. Peering around, I spotted a dull looking two-story house and approached it from the back. There were several bushed dotted across the property and I took cover in a particularly large one.

Surveying the house, I saw no form of security and decided it would be safe to unlock the window. I honestly didn't know why I wasn't going through the back door which seemed to be the much easier option. I removed my hands from the secured window and pulled a set of lock picks out of my pocket. I tested a few picks before one finally worked and the lock opened. Then, I simply twisted the doorknob and let myself in, looking around. "Better get this over with" I thought, taking a step forward before two familiar voices interrupted me. "Good luck! Shadow exclaimed. "Don't die!" Poe added with just as much enthusiasm.

"Yeah, yeah." I thought. I looked around the house, surveying my new environment. Currently I was in the kitchen which was divided from the living room by a small half-wall which nested a bar. I walked further into the kitchen and noted the large food pantry. "I'll raid that later." I muttered, walking away into the living room. It seemed cozy enough, but it didn't look like it was used very often. A large TV sat on top of a luxurious brown stand that seemed to have cost more than any average person could've afford. Two tan couches as costly looking as the stand encircled the small area and a large recliner sat in the corner. The walls were covered in expensive paintings and I could have sworn that I saw the Mona Lisa. I took care not to stare for too long as I had a purpose here. At the end of the room was the front door and to my left was a staircase as well as a welcoming hallway. I found it odd that the house looked so low-class but on the inside it came across as a mansion.

"Let's get this over with." I thought, stepping toward the staircase, but the second my foot touched the first step, an odd feeling came over me. "Four people." I whispered. I could sense everyone in the house! "Three upstairs, one on the same level as me." I whispered again. This must have been one of my new powers. "I'll deal with the one down here first" I decided, stepping away from the stairs and creeping down the hallway. There were three doors but I instantly knew the person was in the last room. "This is so cool!" I fangirled to myself. Shadow and Poe stayed unnervingly quiet and I wondered why. Oh well, I guess. I now stood in front of the door, gazing at the intricate designs. "Damn rich people" I scoffed. "Here goes nothing." I thought.

I twisted the cold doorknob and silently opened the door, sneaking inside. The room was decent sized, but once again the walls were littered in paintings. "Isn't Starry Night by Van Gogh?" I thought. Maybe it was just a remake. Then again these people did seem to be rich. Who knew, maybe they recreated famous paintings and sold them. I brushed aside the thought when the odd feeling from earlier came back. Suddenly my hearing increased and to my right I could hear silent breathing. I inched my way closer as my hearing slowly returned back to normal. In front of me lay an older woman, in her sixties perhaps; I criticized the horrible blonde highlights in her hair that I was sure she paid lots for. My eyes settled on her wrinkly face that many years ago may have attracted all the men, but now most likely terrified them. Here goes nothing. I reached over and grabbed a pillow from beside her and held it to her face. "It's actually quite an improvement." I thought, snickering. Her body tensed and began to struggle, but ultimately I was stronger and she never woke up. I held the pillow just a little while longer to ensure her death and then let go.

Without even thinking, one of my gloved hands reached toward her now pillow-less face and pulled an eye out of its socket. My fingers crushed the eye and blood splattered across my arm. More blood seeped out of her now empty eye socket as I reached into my pocket and pulled out a knife. "Let's have some fun." I smiled wickedly. Without hesitation, I slit her throat and cut off one of her ears. "I wonder what she looks like inside. . ." I pondered. I used my knife to cut open her belly and then peeled back the skin and muscles. One by one I removed her organs only to put them all back except one of her lungs. A trophy. I slipped the lung and ear into a small plastic bag and then backed away from the corpse, admiring my work.

"Don't murderers usually have catchphrases?" I asked myself. My hand instinctively reached toward the body and dipped itself in blood. I got it! I took the blood and began writing on the cluttered walls, knocking down a few paintings in the process. When I finished, I stepped back and praised my work. "One down, three to go." I whispered, walking out of the room. I made my way up the stairs which proved to be an easy task. I originally expected the stairs to be extremely creaky but I had no such problem. I'd gotten to the top in no time and continued on. I opened the first door and snuck inside. This room was very messy. Clothes littered the floor and papers were scattered around the room. The only paintings in here were abstract ones which still looked expensive. I walked further in and made my way to the bed. Below me lied a sleeping boy, who appeared to be in his teens, the same age as me. "Let's do this". However my nose betrayed me and began to tingle. *ACHOO!*. "Fuck." I muttered, flinching.

The boy below me now lay awake, eyes wide open. "Um who are you?" he asked, nervously. "None of your damn business" I retorted. The moment he realized I was female, he calmed down and sat up almost immediately. "I bet you'd look much better without that ugly mask" he said with a smirk. Blood coursed through my veins and before I knew it, my gloves ripped and sharp claws attacked his face. "Ow! That fucking hurt!" he shouted, now holding his bleeding face. Sadly for him, no one woke up. At lightning speed my newfound claws stabbed him in the heart and covered his mouth, muffling his screams. He squirmed for a few seconds before he went still. I then proceeded to slit his throat, gouge out an eye, cut off and ear and steal a lung. I then shoved his eye into his mouth in hopes that he'd see just how disgusting his words were. Once again I left my message on the wall and left the room, only to stop when a bright light shone in my eyes. My whole body tensed before I realized I was looking in a mirror. My eyes were glowing.

I hurried to the last room after I'd remained motionless for five minutes. The sun was going to rise soon and I didn't want to be here when it did. I quickly ran into the parent's room, slit their throats, chopped off some ears, stole their lungs, and gouged their left eyes. This time I decided to keep the eyes, and slipped them in some plastic bags along with the other body parts I'd taken. I rushed down the stairs into the kitchen where I opened a garbage sack and took most of their food. Right as I was about to leave, I spotted a wad of money on the counter and slipped it into my pocket. Blood was splattered all over me as I made my way out of the door. My senses tingled and I swore I could feel someone nearby, but I brushed it off as paranoia. I raced into the woods unbeknownst to the eyes that watched me take off.

~Unknown POV~

I'd been on the way to my next mission when I noticed someone run out of my targets house. "That's odd." I thought. A robber perhaps? Then they paused and I saw the obvious blood splatters. "This doesn't look good." I thought. The mysterious figure raced off into the woods and I slowly made my way into the house. After a few minutes, I'd realized that my victims had been killed. "Slender isn't going to like this." I thought, racing off to our hideout. Our house in the woods was being repaired after a fire so we were all hiding out in an abandoned one. I walked inside and made my way to Slenderman's "office", knocking three times. "Come in" his static voice said. I opened the door and walked in, gently shutting it behind me. "That was quick." He noted suspiciously. "About that . . . by the time I got to the museum robbers' hideout someone had already murdered the targets. The odd thing is that they left all the paintings and only stole some food." I explained cautiously. "I see . . . well it was probably just a one-time crime committed by a starving homeless person. They'll be caught by tomorrow" he said to me. "One more thing sir. The murderer gouged out one eye from each victim, cut off an ear, and stole their lungs. They even used the blood to write on the walls." I added. "Well, those robbers did have a lot of enemies. It's not surprising that one of them got their revenge. Don't worry about it Masky." Slenderman said. "Okay sir, I'll head to my bunk now." I replied. "Goodnight Masky" Slender said.
